Isabella's hands shook as she reached into her bag and pulled out a small and almost flat cylinder shaped device. It was clear glass with gold metal accents surrounding the edges, inside the flat cylinder was a dark red liquid.
She was lucky nobody had gone to pick up after the accident, though she wasn't sure anyone noticed really. Enna, Elijah, and Hope had been taking one of the rarely used backroads of Mystic Falls. Cars rarely drove by, so it was possible nobody had seen the wreckage.
She tapped on the device twice, the clear glass now taking on a blueish hue as the dark red liquid inside moved to the edge of the cylinder. Guiding Isabella as she went the way the unknown liquid veered to.
Isabella thought getting Enna's blood would be simple, that she would just find a piece of glass with Enna's blood on it and use that. However when she got to the scene of the crash, she realized there was a lot more glass and blood than she thought, there was no way to tell which was Enna's.
Luckily, Sera sent her to Mystic Falls with the cylindrical device called the blood glass just for a situation like this, to guide her. The device was meant for Isabella to track Enna and her blood, her uncle had compared it to a locator spell..only it was a little different.
Tapping the blood glass twice was to find Enna's blood, three times to find Enna, and once to turn the device off.
How the blood glass worked exactly? She had no clue.
The liquid inside? Well it looked dark red like old blood but who knew. Isabella didn't care as long as she made sure her mother stayed alive.
She let out a sigh of relief as liquid inside moved to the center of the cylinder, which had now turned from a blue, to a purplish color. She stopped moving right when it did that and looked down to see a large shard of glass coated in blood.
Isabella tapped the device once before carefully picking up the piece of glass and moving further down the road where it was clear of any wreckage.
She put the glass down before reaching into her satchel and pulling out multiple glass bottles with different ingredients, and a container filled with herbs.
Grabbing a larger empty glass, she poured different amounts of mystical fluids inside. Then opened the container she brought and crushed up the herbs before sprinkling them inside the large glass, mixing it to thoroughly combine the ingredients.
As the potion turned yellow, she reached into her back pocket pulling out her phone.
"Hello? Yes I made it I just need to give it to her know...you're sending who? Oh, okay"

One minute she was walking through the woods with the pale strangers, and now she was lying down on something as a bright line shone directly in her face.
Enna grimaced at the light before a hand moved it out of the way.
Her vision was blurry as she tried to get up, hands pushed her down and for once she saw a familiar face.
"Catori?" Enna mumbled. Why did she look older?
"You need to lie down." 'Catori' instructed.
Enna didn't fight her, she was too exhausted and out of it to do much.
She looked around the room in confusion, what the hell was she in. Why was everything white? What were all those weird smells?
"Enna, you're awake!" someone exclaimed in relief, she turned her head to the side to see the girl Hope sitting on a chair right by her.
"Where am I?" Enna asked.
"You got sick, so we had to bring you here so they could treat you." Hope explained.
