Isabella took a deep breath as she sat at her desk in Defensive Magic Class behind Hope and Enna.
Isabella did not like Hope due to her association with Enna, but that didn't mean she wanted her to come to any harm.
She tuned out what their teacher was saying as she tried to convince herself to not care. It wasn't her problem, it's not like she had a choice anyway, Sera had her mother.
She decided she would avoid watching Hope, to lessen any guilt she could feel. Isabella was snapped back into reality when her teacher placed a paper of instructions on her desk.
"For this project you will work in partners that I have picked out for you." The teacher said as she went back to her own desk, picking up a piece of paper.
"If I call out your names, you're partners." The teacher told the class.
"Katie and Josette
Sarah and Brian
Lola and Carlos
Liam and Jackson
Ella and Elizabeth
Hope and Isabella.." The teacher called out names, making Isabella freeze. So much for staying away from Hope.

The teacher was allowing them the rest of their class period free to work on their project. Enna and Lizzie stood outside their classroom—Lizzie wearing a face of indifference while Enna had one of uncomfortableness.
"So..where do you want to work on this?" Enna asked, hoping to get it over with. At least her bodyguard wasn't following her around today..at least not directly behind. Charlotte and Ava were instructed to give her and Hope some space.
Hope and Enna had them wait outside the school.
"I don't know, library I guess?" Lizzie responded.
"I'm not ready to go back there yet." Enna responded quickly with a shake of her head, Lizzie raised an eyebrow at her."It's a long story that you of all people do not want to hear." Enna told her, Lizzie sighed.
"Okay.... then how about your dorm?"
"Sure."

Enna and Lizzie sat in silence as they each worked on their parts of their project, occasionally exchanging a few words.
Lizzie hadn't exactly formed a concrete opinion about Enna. The only thing she thought about the girl was that she was related to Hope, so that was automatically bad news, and that it was probably her fault that her dad was badly injured the other night.
Enna had rarely interacted with Lizzie her entire time at the Salvatore School, so Enna didn't know how to feel about the girl either.
Hope seemed to avoid talking about the Saltzman twins altogether, all she had told her was that they had never gotten along and it was probably best Enna stay away from them.
"You don't regret it, do you?" Enna asked suddenly.
Lizzie paused, biting her lip in pretend thought for a moment.
"No" Lizzie responded simply, knowing exactly what Enna was referring to.
How she had exposed Enna and Hope to the entire school.
Lizzie glanced at Enna, waiting for a reaction, a twist in her expression, something. However Enna only nodded once.
"Okay" Enna shrugged, she had only been curious.
Enna did feel guilty about what happened with Alaric, so she understood why Lizzie had exposed her and Hope.
It was the only way Lizzie could avenge her father.
