The smell of lasagna spread through the Mikaelson Mansion as Hope and Enna sat down at the table.

"What did you say this was again?" Enna asked as she cut the piece on her plate.

"It's lasagna." Hayley told her.

"What's lay-zania?" Enna asked.

"It's lasagna, and this one has ground beef, a buttload of cheeses, pasta, and sauce." Hope explained from her seat next to Enna as she cut her piece , Enna had a confused expression on her face. "Don't worry about it, it's delicious..well— when mom doesn't burn it." Hope said. Enna nodded.

"I didn't burn it" Hayley rolled her eyes.

"I never said you did!" Hope held back a smile. Hayley just sighed.

"So how was school?" Davina asked the girls.

"Good." Enna said simply, Hope nodded.

"We got assigned a project today." Hope said.

"Another one? Didn't you both just turn one in?" Klaus asked.

"Tell that to our teachers." Hope rolled her eyes.

"Or the headmistress" Enna commented offhandedly as she took a bit of her food, Klaus just took a sip of his wine while Elijah, the only other person who knew what she meant hid his amused smirk.

"So what's this new project?" Hayley asked.

"We have to find defense spells we can use in 10 different ancient languages, then provide written examples or demonstrations depending on which we and our partner choose." Enna explained.

"Oh, at least you got partners." Hayley said.

"Yeah but they were assigned." Hope told them.

"Who did you girls get?" Marcel asked.

"I got some weird new girl and Enna got Lizzie Saltzman." Hope said.

"Lizzie Saltzman?" Freya raised an eyebrow. "How'd that go?" She asked.

"It was alright, she's nice." Enna shrugged.

"What?" Hope laughed. "Nice is a word that has never been used to describe Lizzie. Ask anyone at our school." Hope said. Enna simply shrugged.

"We mainly just worked on our project." Enna told her.

"Hmm" Hope hummed thoughtfully.

"Girls! Come on you're going to be late!" Hayley called up the stairs as she grabbed her bag.

"I'm ready but Hope is still getting dressed." Enna said as she walked down the stairs typing on her phone.

"Who are you texting?" Elijah asked her.

"Blake"

"Who's Blake?" Hayley asked.

"He's new at school." Enna said with a shrug.

"He?" Elijah asked, "What are you texting him about so early in the morning?"

"He texted good morning, so I texted back good morning, and now he's asking when we can go on a date." Enna said simply.
