Chapter 21 - Melissa is Cursed

Nathan's POV

"I'm gonna go call Autumn," I state out of the blue as I grab my phone and Juliette nods. Don't you ever have this feeling where something bad happened ? I have that feeling right now.

"When you're done hand her to me because I want to ask her something," Juliette blurts out as she smiles innocently. I give her a "what are you up to" look and she just grins in return.

I press Autumn and place her on speakers. That's weird, she isn't answering. She always answers... Don't jump into conclusions Nathan, maybe she's in the bathroom or maybe she forgot it.

"We'll try again later," I say as Juliette nods.

One hour later and she still hasn't answered. Juliette and I have been trying for the past hour.

"I'll call Blake," Juliette says. "And I'll call Mum," I say.

I call Mum and she answers directly, "Hey Mum, have you heard from Autumn ?"

"No honey, we're on our way to the house. Is something wrong ?" She says worriedly.

"Juliette and I have been calling Autumn for the past hour and she hasn't answered," I'm starting to panic.

"Nathan take in a deep breathe, maybe she's just sleeping. She just finished her exams and I'm sure she's just tired,"  Mum tries calming me down. I hear dad talking in the background.

"What !!! Oh my god !! What should we do ?!" Juliette shouts and tears pile up in her eyes.

"What's wrong Juliette ?" Okay I'm officially panicked.

"Blake was driving to the park and he found Autumn's car to the side. Her phone and keys are there but she's missing. He knocked on the houses in that area and one of them saw a guy inject her and put her in a car then drive off," she says in one breathe.

"AND THEY DIDN'T CALL 911 !!" I shout.

"Nathan what is going on ?!?" I forgot my parents.

"Juliette swap phones. Explain to my parents and I'll talk to Blake." I go on full brother mode.

Autumn's POV

I'm standing on a cliff wearing a white dress. My hair blows in the wind as I look in the distance. I turn around and find myself staring at a tree. I walk towards it and find the leaves fall and get eaten up by the wind as they fly away. I feel like Pocahontas...

A tune starts playing but I can't quite locate from where it's coming. I try to find the sound's source as I descend the cliff. The tune changes and now it's clear from where it's coming. I run towards the sound. I find a boy leaning on the tree with his head down. The boy looks up and gives me a creepy smile as he stands up and walks towards me

No, it can't be...... Not again

"Nooo please," I shout as I rise from my deep slumber. I look around and find myself in a bed that isn't mine.

I take in a deep breathe and stand up but a wave of dizziness hits me and I fall back onto the bed. I touch everything around me since it's pitch black. I find something that feels like a switch so I turn it on. A lamp lights up and I can finally see my surroundings.

This looks like a normal guy room. When my dizziness fades away I stand up and look around. I spot a camera on the top left corner. I walk towards a mirror and notice that I'm not in my regular clothes. I'm changed into a tight skimpy black dress. I look slutty and pathetic...
