Chapter sixteen: Mystery man

Hi guys and at last i finished chapter sixteen yay lol

Alright a new character is introduced into this chapter hint* look at title lol

 Merlin’s POV

Merlin lay still beginning to wake up but feeling the cold when he tried to move the covers of himself. The door to his room creaked open and moments later Merlin found Kira sitting on his bed so he found himself sitting up but keeping the covers over him.

“The prince has been with the king an hour already explaining why we all came back early and in the middle of the night” explained Kira.

“Bet he was pleased about that but he was the prat, maybe he deserves it” said Merlin.

“Gaius told me everything, everyone does have those moments now and again but if he does it again” began Kira raising his voice. “

I know” said Merlin.

Merlin and Kira laughed as Gaius peaked around the door.

“Merlin you better get up, dressed and eat its already 12 noon” Gaius said softly

“That late” began Merlin.

“Yes Merlin that late now come on get to it, Kira we best get going” smiled Gaius.

Kira smiled at Merlin levitated a plate of food into his lap before he left with Gaius.

“Hey how did you” but Merlin stopped himself as he saw his spell book on Kira’s bed in the main area of the chamber. Merlin levitated it to himself before he stuck it back under his floorboards.

 Merlin enjoyed his food knowing he didn’t mind Kira using it because he still hadn’t taught anything to the boy but he just never seemed to have the time.

 Arthur’s POV

Arthur knew it was his thought, he was the one who said something to upset his friend and he knew he still needed to make up for it he just didn’t know how yet. Walking back from having a disagreement well to be honest an argument considering half the kingdom probably heard it he thought as he got to his chambers and pulled out his keys to open the door but finding it already open.

Arthur took a deep breath before pushing open his door hoping no one had actually broken into his chambers. Arthur found Merlin sitting at his table half a sleep.

 “Hey Merlin wake up” he shouted into the room as he closed the door.

Arthur watched as his friend open his eyes and stood up.

“Oh sorry I didn’t know what to do you actually left your room clean for a change and I thought I would sit down for a bit and wait for you but I must have fell a sleep” said Merlin. “

"Never mind that Merlin we did go to bed late last night” Arthur said as he went over to the window.

“So what is the plan today” asked Merlin.
