Kira’s POV

Kira could not lie to himself as well as he couldn’t lie to anyone else the day he had just been faced with was one of the worst days of his life.

It hurt more then he thought it would.

He was not as strong as he wanted to be but he had got through it and now he was pretty much back to his normal self thanks to Lady Jane, Lady Rosemary and Lady Kelly with their amazing healing powers.

 Kira had not seen anyone apart from his father who had popped into make sure he was alright.

 Arthur had been taken to a different part of the castle as he was a little bit worse then Kira had been so he needed a couple hours of sleep to get him back to his normal self.

Kira tried to remember the previous night events and what a fool he had probably made of himself by getting completely drunk but because of the training some how Lady Rosemary used a spell to get over his hang over quickly.

 Kira remained in the room until he knew it was time to go join his friends for dinner hoping that Merlin was alright because he knew how hard it must have been on him.

Arthur’s POV

He felt tired.

Nothing more.

Nothing less.

Arthur had been asleep sometime and he managed to stand and get some fresh air from the window.

Arthur knew that what had happened early on in the morning was hard for him to take so he could imagine hard much harder it was for his best friend.

Arthur couldn’t help but wonder why Merlin had to be this Emry’s he sometimes just wished he was not a prince he and Merlin could be best friends and do what best friends are suppose to do.

Not this. Not trying to save a land and its people.

Why did Arthur and Merlin have to have this stupid destiny why couldn’t they be normal and be just Merlin and Arthur or prat and the idiot the two best friends forever.
