Arthur’s POV

Arthur had found it hard to watch Merlin pass out in front of him but he knew he needed to rest it would be easier to get Merlin back to the castle as well then.

Arthur picked his friend up and took a good look at his friend’s foot.

It was clear that Merlin’s foot had been beaten into but the worse of it was flesh was hanging from his friend’s foot blood still coming out quite fast.

Arthur was beginning to panic he had to somehow stop the bleeding or slow it down long enough to get to the castle.

Arthur had completely forgot about everything and everyone until he heard his name being shouted.

“Arthur is he alright” the familiar voice of Lady Rosemary reached his ears.

“No look at him does he look alright he got beat by one of those monsters look at his foot he is bleeding he needs help quick” said Arthur shaking but trying to stop himself considering he was holding Merlin in his arms and didn’t want to drop him but he allowed the tears of worry and fear drip down his face which looked paler then usual but not as bad as Merlin who looked as white as a ghost.

Lady Rosemary took a quick look before she ripped some of her dress and wrapped it around the now injured foot which looked like near enough half of it had been beaten of.

Merlin must have been brave enough to be able to get back to the edge of the lake even with his help it must have been killing him.

“Let’s get him inside” said Lady Rosemary.

“We won the first challenge right” Arthur asked her as they both set of.

“Of course you did Nick never made it he was eaten alive you two were lucky” said Lady Rosemary.

“Do you think it was luck” asked Arthur curiously.

“No I don’t I knew Emry’s would be able to do it and alongside you it helped him more I believe this to also be true his powers were used well while Nick and Sam clearly did not make a good team Sam left Nick behind which was a mistake Sam only got out a minute ago and he only just made it the four devils do not know how to work together but you two did as well as they use spells which did nothing to stop or damage the monsters while Merlin did” she smiled.
