"Are you sure they entered this Dungeon?" Ray asked again for confirmation.

All eight of them were currently standing at the edge of the forest behind Ray's house. All sixteen eyes were staring at the cluster of four trees一two fallen in a cross sign, while the other two were as high as buildings.

"Guess, there's no other choice. We enter the Dungeon." Misa walked towards the Fallen trees.

"ARE YOU NUTS?" Lucius and Ray quickly stopped her.

"Why are you stopping me? It's a S Rank Dungeon. I'm an S+ Rank Hero. I'll survive. And it's not like you even know what's in there." Misa shrugged their worries off.

"You were eavesdropping on our conversation." Ray raised an eyebrow.

"I'm an S+ Rank Hero. I have supernatural hearing that never turns off." Misa rolled her eyes as if she had heard this argument a million times.

"Ok wait!" Lucius quickly stopped them. "I know what's inside the Dungeon."

"You do?" Misa wasn't surprised. "Guess you are not as big a coward as you said. So what's inside the Dungeon?"

Dungeons higher than A-Rank were rare. No matter how dangerous, there would always be a secret urge to go and take a look inside, especially if you are an SS Rank who can easily get out.

Misa had already guessed Lucius was lying to Ray when he said he didn't know what was inside.

"It allows you to time-travel." Lucius revealed.

"For real? Damn!" Misa was impressed.

So were the ones behind her.

"So what happens then? What about the monsters?" Misa pushed forward.

"There aren't any. When I went in, I got transported back to The Great Catastrophe. I fought some of the monsters there, but I don't think they belonged to the Dungeon. After a few, the scenery disappeared, and I found myself outside the entrance once again. I have no idea what the objective of the Dungeon was, and I didn't try to go back there again."

"I think I can provide you with more information." Ray decided to raise his hand.

Immediately all eyes turned to him, the adults looking at him with suspicion while the kids, who were somewhat familiar with his Appraisal Skill, or as he told them一an information information-gathering Skill, just looked at him like it was expected.

The distrustful gazes were a bit piercing. Ray could almost feel mana piercing through his face as if trying to examine his brain.

He was initially doubtful about revealing this, but there were two kids whose lives were on the line. It wouldn't sit well with his conscience if he just sat on that information and did nothing.

"The Dungeon's main function isn't to time-travel." Lucius' ear perked up like a dog's as he listened to this new information. "You know how everyone has that one point in time in their life they want to return一where they believe if they did just this one thing differently, their life will be so much better? That's where the Dungeon takes you."

"But I feel like there's a catch coming." Misa guessed, having gone through countless Dungeons before, both normal ones on the Continent, as well as the unrewarding Loop Dungeons on the Archipelago.

"But I didn't feel anything like that when I went through." Lucius countered.

Ray nodded. "It does. Could have been you were too overcome with nostalgia, or even PTSD, but the time period you were in, it was an important time in your life. Honestly, you should count yourself lucky that you didn't notice it."
