I Love My Boss(Book 2)

Chapter 3

Steven:
I sat down in the little cafe with my cup of coffee and watched as college students stood in line and rushed out with their orders in hand.

I take a sip and just relax against my seat as my phone vibrates I look down at it.

I look up as I feel eyes watching me and I'm met with the same familiar blue eyes I had become accustomed to seeing.

I clear my throat and wait for him to sit down.

He hesitates and then slowly slides into the seat in front of me.

"To what do I owe the pleasure father." I dryly remark.

"If you want to see that little girlfriend and baby of yours ever again I would control yourself boy. Likewise goes for Rebecca I thought I would get a little insurance." He says as he pulls out a stack of papers from his suit.

He unfolds them and slides them across the table standing up and ordering a drink sipping on it as he makes his way back to the table.

I look over the papers and snort every few lines as I read getting angrier and angrier with each line.

"If you think this is going to work you are mistaken. I would never do this." I snap at him.

He finishes his drink and places the cup on the table and stands buttoning his suit jacket before leaning down closer to me an speaking "If I were you I would sign over that company of yours if you ever want to see Angel and the baby and Rebecca ever again because I sure would hate to see something happen to that pretty face of Angel's"

He leans back up and walks out the cafe leaving me alone with the paperwork.

I grab the papers and leave the cafe in a hurry pissed to hell and back.

No way in hell am I going to let him get away with this.

Not with my Angel and our child in danger and Rebecca to, they don't deserve to be in the middle of my father and my problems.

Angel:
After using the bathroom I make my way back into the room to find Rebecca has taken a few of the pillows for herself and is leaning against the headboard with her eyes closed.

I make my way over to the bed and get settled before she opens her eyes and looks over at me with a smile on her face.

"So you and Steven are having a baby. Do yo know what it is yet or is it to early still?" She asks as the smile on her face gets bigger.

She lifts her hand up and holds it over my stomach and hesitates as I move my own hands off my stomach and nod for her to touch my baby bump.

She happily lays her hand on my stomach and rubs in small circles with a grin on her face.

"We don't know what it is yet we should find out soon though. So tell me why haven't you gotten married and had a family of your own? You seem like the kind that would love to have little miniature people running around." I curiously ask.

She pulls her hand off my stomach and starts to frown before talking with a shaky voice " I uh I can't have children. Something happened when I was little and my body just won't support it. I always loose the baby. I would love to have them but my body thinks otherwise."

"Oh I'm so sorry I didn't know." I place my hand on her shoulder.

"It's okay it will happen one day. If not I can always adopt." She swipes her hand across her cheek as tears finally break and roll down her face.

I lean over at a weird angle to keep from hurting the baby and wrap her in a hug and just hold her.

Several minutes pass and I finally let her go and she is back to smiling again.

"I see why Steven is with you. Thank you so much." She says as she lays down and gets comfortable.

I do the same as I adjust pillows ad lay on my side and slowly fall asleep.

A/N:

So as I promised a new chapter I took a little mini vaca over the weekend and yesterday I had an awesome birthday went shopping and went and had Mexican my fav for dinner.

Yummy enchiladas with lettuce and sour cream on top ooooooo.

Anyways.............

I recently had a new motivation to finish this book so shout out @mickieminnie  I was up at 2 in the morning to finish this chapter for you because I promised I would finish :)
