Chapter 4

Steven:

Going over the contract I start to laugh again.

If my father thought hurting innocent people to get what he wanted was going to work he was wrong.

Right now I'm sitting in my apartment looking over the paperwork that my father gave me.

I didn't really have anything else to do.

Don't know how to find Angel or Rebecca even if I did I wouldn't know how to get them.

I stand starting to pace back and forth in my living room trying to come up with something.

Several minutes pass when I finally figure out how to find them.

I race to my phone and dial the number fast and wait for the ring.

It rings several times then an all to familiar voice answers.

'Hello Rodriguez residents may I ask who is calling' the sweet little voice says.

"Hey Melissa is my mother in I need to talk to her" I ask the maid.

She has worked for my parents for years now and was around when I was growing up.

'Yes she is I will go get her for you Steven honey' she replies.

The line goes silent for a minute then a 'hello' can be heard.

"Hey mom it's your son Steven I need to ask you something mind if I come by an talk to you"

'Well of course dear you are more than welcome to visit anytime you want. You know I love it when you come to visit me and I can spoil you with my cooking you know you don't eat enough for my liking.' The sweet little voice that my mother uses when talking to me says.

"Okay mom I will be there in a little bit. Love you bye" I reply and hang up after she says the same.
