Chapter 17

Steven:

I've been humming for about twenty minutes to my daughter who is sleeping.

Every time I try and stop she starts to wiggle and get fussy.

Already got me wrapped around her finger I didn't think that was possible.

Angel fell asleep and I'm glad she is finally getting some rest she looks so peaceful sleeping.

I have everything I thought I couldn't in this room with me and I'm so happy with the way everything turned out.

I married the woman of my dreams and she gave me a beautiful daughter.

Angel:

I wake up to find Steven and the baby gone and the room completely empty.

I start to panic as the machine that monitors my heart starts to speed up a nurse comes rushing in.

"Calm down honey don't want you to get your blood pressure up." The nurse says trying to calm me down.

"Where is my daughter and my husband?" I say still looking around panicking.

"They are both fine your daughter is in the nursery and I sent your husband to go get something to eat he hadn't left your side since he got here and looked like he really needed a good meal. Don't worry he should be back in just a minute ma'am" as he says that Steven comes walking through the door with a cup of coffee with dark circles under his eyes.

I finally calm down and relax against the pillows the nurse was helping me fluff and he rushes over to me.

"I'm sorry love I thought I could make it back before you woke up." Steven says as he kisses my forehead.

I just smile and lean into his hug as he wraps his arms around me.

To think I love my boss I'm married to him and we have a daughter together.
