Chapter 12

Steven:

After getting out the shower I'm walking down the hallway to the kitchen to get something to eat when the elevator doors open.

I turn and running towards me is Angel.

My Angel.

I wrap my arms around her and relax as I finally have her back in my arms where she belongs.

She takes off to the bathroom as I stay where I am.

I'm in shock as I hear my mom come in from the kitchen.

"What's all this noise I'm hearing?" She asks looking around.

"Angel" is all I can say as I point in the direction of the bathroom she is currently in.

She walks towards the bathroom and shoves the door open and gasps.

She goes and helps Angel as I go and sit down on the couch with my head in my hands.

Everything is back to normal after the police questioned Angel several times.

She gave them directions to where the bodies were when the police got there and started searching they only found one body.

They followed a tip they had received earlier to find Hector at his parents and was later arrested.

He was wanted for several other murders and was running from the cops so he was charged and would be in prison for life with no chance of getting out.

I took Angel to the doctor to make sure she and the baby were okay.

She was put on bed rest for a few days just to make sure and we found out the gender of the baby.

Everything is good and I'm taking her to dinner so I can finally do what I was planning to do before she was taken from me.

We just got to the restraunt and were showed to a private table I had reserved.

After eating dinner and desert it was finally the time I was so nervous about.

I stood up and got next to her and got done on one knee beside her taking her hand.

"I know I haven't been the best guy. I may have kidnapped you but that was only because I love you so much. When you were taken from me I didn't know what I was going to do all I knew was that I had to have you back no matter what. I can't live without you so will you make me the happiest man and marry me please my love?"

I open the box in my hand and reveal the huge diamond ring I had specially made for her.

She looks down at it with tears in her eyes and shakes her head yes.

I pull the ring out the box and slide it on her hand and pull her up into a kiss.
