After I got home with my party clothes, I had popped me and Kiarra a bag of popcorn. I went back up to my room and I saw Kiarra laid straight out on my bed, texting on her phone. To whom, I wouldn't know, but you know, I could get a little nosy, "Who you textin'?" I asked. I sat on the bed next to her. I was looking over her shoulder, trying to get a glimpse of who she was talking to, "I can't wait to see you? Hmm, who is that to?" I asked, reading over the text.

"Steven. We're talking about tomorrow night," she said.

"Oh', interesting."

"Very," she laughed.

"I'm actually excited, but scared about what's going to happen," I admitted.

"Oh' Lord. You can talk stuff about how worried you are, but you better not walk in that door lookin' scared. You understand?" she said.

"Yeah. I guess it's just nervousness and excitement colliding all at one time."

"You sound like me, before I went the other night."

"I'm sure I do," she started getting from the bed and headed out of the room, "I gotta go and get ready for school tomorrow night."

"Ight, bye girl."

"Holla."
