As I was about to drift off to sleep on Kenom's chest, we heard a knock on the door, "Who's that?" I wondered.
"I'm gonna go see," he said. He got up from the bed and he put his boxers back on. He went straight for the door. I straightened my neck out to see who it was. He opened the door and I recognized the voice, "Hey man. You mind if I come in?" the voice asked. It was Dedrick. Why was he here? Go away, I thought. I can't get away from him! "What you need man?" Kenom said.
"Man, I just blew up at my girl."
"For what?"
"Well, one of my clients came over and tried to make me some money, but she refused it. Man, I beat her, but you know she not making me any money."
"Man, I don't know to tell you. Man, I don't mean to sound like a jerk or anything, but I ain't feelin' so good, bruh'. Ay' I'll talk to you tomorrow, though."
"I feel ya'. See ya' bro'," Kenom walked him back to the door and shut and locked it.
