I was walking the streets to get home and I saw Dedrick and his friend from the club, sitting out on Dedrick's porch. I dug out my phone to make it look like I was busy and I didn't need anyone to bother me, "Hey Shontelle!" Dedrick yelled from the porch. I acted like I didn't hear him and kept on walking. I heard fast footsteps coming up from behind me. I felt a familiar pull on my arm, " When I'm talkin' to you, you need to respond," I turned to Dedricka and pulled away from him, "We're not together anymore, remember? Now, leave me alone."
" Hey, Dedrick, leave her alone!" the guy from the porch yelled. I walked and I tried to forget about what just happened.
