Who is Y/n? *Get to know our MC*

Name:

Y/n Morgenstern (She does not remember her surname)

Morgenstern is also German for "Morningstar", which I thought was pretty cool sounding.

Physical appearance:

For the sake of the story, Y/n will have white hair and yellow eyes. The rest of her is fairly unspecified, or at least, I am trying to keep it that way. And if you really don't want to imagine her with white hair and/or yellow eyes, just imagine she's using her devil fruit to alter her appearance a bit.

When I have mentioned Y/n's height, I don't imagine a specific height for her. She just thinks she is smaller than everyone else because everyone in the One Piece world is freakishly massive! But, if I HAD to give her a height, I'd probably say around 5'6ft. Not too small, but not too tall either.

Devil Fruit Ability:

She has the power of the Dream-Dream Fruit, which is a paramecia type. She genuinely forgets she has a devil fruit ability sometimes, and she had been a good swimmer prior to eating the fruit, so she is a bit bitter about that as well. Her occasional laziness appreciates the power, though.

When her hands are bound (tied up), she cannot use her devil fruit powers. You create things with your hands, right? It's kind of like that. Say if your hands were chained or bound, you couldn't make anything with them until you got loose.

Y/n believes her devil fruit is a bad match for her because she thinks she is uncreative and boring, which ends up severely limiting what it is she can actually do with her power.

Facts about Y/n:

Her birthday is December 1st. She is 19-years-old and a Sagittarius (fire spirit).

She hates swallowing pills, so she either chews them (gross!) Or, Orion or Atlas have to hide them in her food (almost as if she were a child or a pet lol).

Y/n didn't have any friends when she was younger (as far as she can remember), so she thought making a big blank poster and having people she meets sign it would make her feel less lonely.

When she is bored, distracted, or anxious, she bites her nails or the skin around them. She knows it's a bad habit, but it's hard to break.

If she is uncomfortable or nervous around someone/something, she may unknowingly alter her appearance in slight ways. Examples would be changing her hair black, her eyes green, or adding features she may not have had before (freckles, beauty marks, etc.)

When it comes to her newly found friends, the Straw Hats, she tries to be very caring and considerate of them, while also being able to play around and have fun too.

One thing's for sure, if something doesn't interest Y/n, she will completely space out and not pay attention. She means no offense to anyone, she just genuinely has a hard time focusing on something that doesn't immediately grab her attention.

As revealed in the last chapter, Y/n is allergic to the cold. And yes, I promise it is a real thing (which I know sounds crazy lol). Angels in the One Piece world normally thrive in cold elements or winter islands. Hell, Y/n was born on a winter island, yet fate seems to have it in for her. As long as she is wrapped up in warm clothes, she should be alright, but she will get itchy hives on any exposed skin. The cure to that, though, is HEAT! Which Y/n hates. She loves the cold so much, she doesn't care if having a bedside fan blowing on her 24/7 could slowly be killing her because she loves it! Damn, Y/n sounds kinda fucked up, huh? Well, she doesn't care! As long as she is comfortable, nothing else matters to her.
