A/N: I really appreciate the effort of some of you, but I'm giving up on getting votes so here you go, all your chapters

Mary Margret peered up at me, over her book. "Ruby," she half growled, half sighed. She clutched the fabric of my shirt in her hand and ripped me towards her. "You shouldn't be out here...or out of your house." Her tone was low, much like an angry mother trying to gently scold her child. Her grip wasn't gentle though. "There's someone after you."

"Who?"

"I didn't see his face, I was attacked from behind, but that doesn't matter. They told me they were looking for you...for revenge."

I rubbed my face. "I believe you Snow. Trust me. I need to make a phone call."

I went out of the room and dialed the number to my crappy old phone...now Peter's. He didn't answer at first so I called him again. "Hey Red," he answered.

"Hey Peter," I greeted, dragging out the first word. "How are you doing?"

"I'm great. I've been learning how to fish with these new contraptions and how to use a camera."

"That's good. So you been by the docks this whole time?"

"Yeah." I hung up after awhile and went back in.

Snow and I talked for awhile. That's when I leaned against the window seal to catch a breeze. My hand found something sharp, and I accidentally cut myself on it.

"Ow!" I yelled, clutching my hand.

Snow looked concerned. "What's wrong?"

I gazed back over and saw a broken bottle and a note.

Your hand won't be the only thing that's cut when I'm through with you.

The scarlet was warm and sticky on my hands. "Are you alright?" Snow stood up and examined my hand.

"I'm fine." I tore off a piece of my shirt and wrapped it around my palm. "I need to get back home."

"Let me help you," said Emma, who just walked in. "You don't want it to get infected."

"I'll heal it," Regina cut in. She took my hand from Mary Margaret and pulled off the cloth.

"I'm fine." I ripped it from her and walked out.

"Peter," I growled into my speaker. "Are you sure you didn't go by the diner today? Not even for a moment?"

"I swear Red. I would never lie to you. Did something happen?"

"No," I lied, biting my lip. My eyes met my hand and the blood soaked cloth. Killian's fingers rested on top. His teeth gently grazed the bone in my neck. "I'll call you back later." I could hardly keep my voice even as shivers raked through my body.

I placed my phone on the night stand beside my bed. "How's your hand?"

"It's fine," I mumbled.

"Is something wrong love?" His blue gaze bore into me. The heat in my cheeks swelled.

I hugged him, tears shimmering. My face fell into his neck. "I want to marry you more than anything else. For once I finally made a good decision." I stopped to grasp the hair on the back of his neck. "But...Peter...what if he gets jealous." It wasn't a question.

Killian leaned away, wetting his lips. "I need a nap."

I curled up next to him, and his arm fell around me.

Killian's POV

The sound of her heart pressing against me filled the room. Her dark hair snaked around my wrist and fingers. "Killian?" Ruby buzzed, facing the window.

"Yes?"

She was quiet for a moment. "I love you."

I kissed her head. "I love you too." Then I realized she was talking in her sleep. I smirked.

"But Peter..." I clenched my teeth. "W-what if I still lo-"

"No!" I screamed in rage. Ruby jumped, lines under her eyes.

"What is it Killian?" She blinked against the new found light passing through the glass of the window.

My eyebrows furrowed. "Nothing."

"Was I talking again?"

I refused to look at her. "Yes." Her mouth found my cheek.

"Oh Killian. I'm so sorry." I turned and kissed her. Her eyes held a certain darkness to them, and her lips turned up at the corners. "But Killian..." A spark of thought flew through me, and I knew what the darkness was...lust. "I don't know how long I can wait."

"Well I feel the same, but Ruby..."

She buried her head in the pillows. "I don't have work tomorrow."

"David and I are doing something tomorrow."

She got in my face, teeth bared. "You too are always doing something."

"It's for us, Ruby."

She sighed. "Goodnight."

"Ruby, I'm sorry." I pulled a strand away from her shimmering eyes. "I will see you in the morning my love."
