Chapter 14

JAMES POV;

**Two Days Later**

Carter and Noah have been so close in the past few days and I finally broke up with Amelia. I am so lonely and watching Noah and Carter makes me feel even worse. I AM happy for them but I have to admit I'm jealous, I mean did that day when we kissed on the bed mean nothing to Carter? It meant a lot to me. Obviously I just need to get out more but I don't feel like it at the same time.
I lay in my bed late at night and fall asleep almost instantly;

"Hey, Babe?" I turn around in my bed.
"Carter?"
"Hey, sorry I've been so busy." he rubs his cold hand on my chest, I get a shiver down my spine. Carter kisses me and I kiss back, I pull him in closer as our tongues collide together.
"Man I love you." I tell him, he stops and looks at me.
"What?" he sounded confused but angry, "you, love me?"
"Yeah?" Carter gets out of my bed and turns into a gross, disgusting monster type thing almost instantly.
"Well I don't love you." he says in a low, scary voice. His claws stab through my chest and he rips my heart out and eats it. I scream as I hold where my heart once was, I was bleeding and the room turned bright red with blood dripping from the ceiling as I started to feel dizzy from the loss of blood, I scream more, "James, you will never be loved!" Carter grabs my left leg and rips it off, I scream, then my right leg.
"Ahhhhh! F***!" I yell. He eats my legs like they're chicken, "Carter, stop!" I yell, he laughs and rips off my arms, "ahhhhhhhhhh-" ;

"Ahhhhhhhhh!" I wake up from Carter shaking me, my heart pounding out of my chest and I'm sweating.
"Are you okay?" He asks with a worried face.
"Yeah," I say a little out of breath, "I had a nightmare."
"I can tell. You've been having nightmares every night lately."
"Yeah."
"Are you sure you will be okay?" he asked sincerely. He truly looked scared for me, he really cared.
"Yeah, I'll be fine."
"Alright." he gets up from my bed and walks to the door.
"Wait." I say before he opens the door to leave. Carter looked at me waiting, "can you stay with me tonight?" he smiled and came to lay beside me in my bed.

CARTER'S POV;

"Can you stay with me tonight?" James asked me as I started to open the door. I stopped and smiled, I walked toward the bed and curled up beside him under the blanket. I never thought you'd ask. I fell asleep with my arms around James' bare chest and a smile on my face.

I woke up from sound of Owl City: Rainbow Veins, I sigh, James alarm, oh it's today? I think as I squint my eyes and read the note on his phone; Family Reunion's 2Day!!
I get up and turn off the alarm, I rub my eyes and stretch as I walk into the kitchen and open the fridge. I look through our fridge to find something for breakfast, I pull out an apple, raspberries and blueberries and set them all on the counter. I make my oatmeal, add cinnamon on top and cut up the apple into small squares then place them and the other fruits on top of my oatmeal. I put the extra fruit fruit back in the fridge and take the milk, pour it on my oatmeal and put it back in the fridge. Yummy. I grab a spoon and go to the dining table to eat.
A while later I hear James come down the hall, "hey sleepy head, I actually got up before you." I say with a little laugh.
"Yeah you did." he walks up to me and kisses the top of my head, "I got to get read for the family reunion today."
"Yeah, I saw that. Want me to come?" He gave me a look, "James! Not like that!" He laughs and walks into the kitchen.

JAMES POV;

I walk into the kitchen and grab a bowl, spoon, lucky charms and the milk, "Sure, if you really want to." I answer walking into the dining room and sitting across from Carter at the table.
"Yeah, why not?" he says with a shrug. I pour my cereal and milk and start to eat.
"Okay well then you have to be ready BEFORE 12, okay?" he nods and gives me a thumbs up as he gets up and goes into the bathroom.
"JAMES!!" Carter screams from the washroom, I get up and run to the door.
"What's wrong?" I ask worried.
"Come in, quick!" I do so.
"Oh." I cover my eyes and blush, "what is it?" I ask again.
"Spider. ugh," he takes my hand off my eyes, "don't act like this is weird, just kill it." he points at a small spider by the toilet. I roll my eyes and smack it.
"Want a high five?" I joke showing my hand with the dead spider on it.
"Ahh, ew, no!" He jumps into the tub and hides behind the certain as I laugh, "ugh, get out." I do so and he starts the shower, I leave the door a crack open.

CARTER'S POV;

"Na na na na na na na-" I sing as I wash my hair, "na nanananahhhhhh!" the curtain swings open, "James!" He laughs.
"Sorry, I just really wanted to do that." he laughed.
I roll my eyes, "get out."
"Okay okay." he leaves and I hear he close the door and I continue to shower, what a crazy b*tch, haha. I can't wait to spend my whole day with him.

JAMES POV;

Man, I'm in such a happy mood. It's been a long time since I've been happy, I like it...
I start to style my hair as I hum a song.
