after finding out my fathers first date was a disaster, Bills and I had pretty much given up. until he told us in great detail of the waitress that served him.

"she was funny, smart ,beautiful and so much more." my dad fussed.

"and?" we chorused.

"and im meeting with her tonight, im sorry for doing this to you girls."

"no no don't apoligize I think this is great." billy shared a happy look with me.

I jumped up the stairs and texted cora.

me: dads second date ago go.

cora: zat mean your going to lova boys house again?

me: no way

cora: wait come over to my house

me: r u sure?

cora: yea this will be a blast

me: okay ill see you at school bye xx

cora: see ya

okay that's my sleeping arrangements done. I packed my bag and made my wy back down towards the kitchen. "bye dad, bye billy ill see you tmorrow!" I call running out the door.

I walked down the drive. jasper was waiting there for me. "want a ride?" he asked casually lening against his car.

"sure!" I say jumping in the car.

the car ride was relitivley silent. only a few words traded here and there.

"howd your dads date go?"

"horrible."

"really?"

"yeah, hes going on a nother one tonight, someone he met at the resteraunt."

"need a babysitter?" he asked wiggiling his eyebrows. "as much as id love to say.... no.... I don't realy want to say that. im going to coras house anawya."

"oh." "oh?" "well jay Flynn and I are going to the bech on sunday. do you and cora want to come?"

as jasper asked this he drummed his fingers on the stering wheel. we were at school now. and I dint notice this but the others were not in the car at anytime during the ride to school.

I was about to answer when who shold knock o the car window? why my darling Chelsea. "jasper!" she screeched. he winded down the window and she stuck her head in.

"jasper, babe I was wondering can we have a lil chat?" she smotherd me with her bubblgum sent.

why cant I smell that yummy?

jasper looked over at me and back to her, "no that's okay ill leave. bye jas ill see you later."

I got out the car as fast as I could go and hurridley ran into the schools main building. id just made it to the bathrooms when my phone bizzed with in my pocket.

cora: hello where are you?

I sighed. leaning against the girls bathroom wall I rinsed my hands ad typed replkie. sure enpugh five minuets later cora bursted through the doors.

"where in the world have you been, you said you were catching the bus today." She said heading for the nearest mirror to apply her lipgloss. "I got a ride with jasper." I said casually.
