I glance around the cafeteria. Most tables are full, everyone hanging out with thier friends, catching up beofre the next few lessons. Cora and I sit alone on our table,
"hmmm.. I would ask what this even is but I'm pretty sure you don't know." She says poking the grey thing in her plate.
"Tomorrow I'm defiantly not buying my food. That's for sure." I say inspecting the assortment of 'food' on my tray.
"I was thinking did you wanna come to my place after school?" Cora says hopefully.
"Yes i would love to- wait. I cant" i sigh. Cora furrows her brow, "I have detention," I sigh.
"Detention? already?" she asks shocked.
"Dont get me started," I saw shaking my head, "Listen why don't you come around to mine at five? We can watch movies and I'll be back by then!" I smiled at my plan. Cora nods eagerly.
I look around, people seemed to be getting ready for there next lessons, putting their trays into a trolley and pushing in their chairs.
Biology
I groan
BIOLOGY!
Getting up from the table I say a quick good bye to Cora who had English.
The halls were crowded with students as they hurry off for last minuet breaks and to get their books. Sighing again I did the same. Biology interested me enough but I never understand it all.
I walked to class early this time. Not making a fuss and sat at an empty table. I was a loner without Cora she was my only friend here and when Tori came to visit they would meet. I'm positive they will get along like a house on fire. Quite frankly they both remind me of one another.
Biology went quickly, like a breeze passing through it didn't last. When the bell went it startled me and I then remembered I had detention. I've never had detention before. Yes you could say I'm a good girl. But I knew better than to argue and contest the detention.
I grabbed my books from my desk and stand. My English teacher from this morning gave me the room number for the detention, block number three. I did regret my discussion this morning, the one of not having a guide.
At least building three is one I have been in before. I walked quickly not wanting to be late again.
I pushed open the door and looked around. The room was small with eight desks and a giant white board adorned the front wall. A single teacher sat at the front. His eyes were covered by a pair of sunglasses but by the sound of his snoring they weren't just there to block out the sun.
I sat down quietly and got out my phone.
Cora4evs: how's detention going?
Of course she had to ask.
Cleocat: boring as, can't wait to see you tonight
Sighing I started listening to music. I didn't notice when someone sat down next to me and stared.
"What song you listening too?" The voice asked.
"Ah omg!" I cried, I looked next to me and Jasper was sitting there with an amused look on his face, I glared at him.
"You scared me somuch!" I slapped him on the arm.
He laughed at my reaction. His arm is solid I ended up hurting myself.
"Aw c..Cleo you punch like a girl!" He teased.
I rolled my eyes. "Can't you sit at another table?" I hissed.
He shook his head. "Don't get angry at me its your fault I'm in here."
He has a point
"I would say I'm sorry..." I looked him in the eyes, "but I'm not."
He smirked at me. Ignoring his presence completely I looked down and texted Cora.
He peered at my phone.
Cora4evs: see you later I have to go bye
Cleocat: see you after I get released from this hell hole
"Cleo cat!" He said smiling. I blushed. He saw my name.
"Cute, I must say, kitty suits you!" He winked. I groaned.
"Hey, wanna escape with me?" His eyes shining. "I'm not in the mood for your games Jasper!" I sigh and continue to play the game on my phone. White tiles four. I know it's for little kids but I'm hooked.
"I'm not joking, do you want to get out of detention or not?" He said stubbornly. I shoot him a questioning glance. He smiled and then got up silently from his chair. The few other students didn't even notice. "Jasper what are you doing?" I yell whisper at him.
He beckons for me to follow him. Being the stupid one I sigh and copy his action, silently getting out my chair and followed him out the door. Nobody seemed to notice our departure and for that I was truly grateful.
Once outside the room and in one of the many corridors that snaked through the school, did I let out the breath I had been holding onto. I stared at my reflection in the glass window in shock. I cannot believe I just did that.
"What's up kitty, looks like you've never done anything reckless in your whole life!? Better saddle up because if your going to ride with me I can assure you there will be a lot of reckless making." He smirked at my shocked expression before walking down the hall towards the exit.
I followed reluctantly. Half of me was egging me to whoop for joy and go crazy the other half was begging for me to go back and be a good girl. I don't know what piece of advice I followed to end up following Jasper into the carpark.
Most of the students had left, others lingered at their cars talking. Some stayed on for tutoring or after school sports. Jasper loped over to his car and it was only then did I realize I didn't have a ride home.
I sighed.
This was going to be a long walk
I started towards the exit and into the street. I was humming to myself when someone honked at me. Startled o turn slightly. Jasper was in his car parked on the curb next to me. "Wanna ride Cleo cat?" He said wiggling his eyebrows. I shook my head, he smirk vanished. "Look kitty if you want to make it home before nightfall then I suggest you get in." He looked at me expectant and waiting for my answer.Taking a deep breath I walked over to the passenger door and climbed In. His smirk reappeared as I got in and did my seatbelt up.
"Don't act like you didn't want to, Cleo cat"
"Don't call me that!" I warned.
"What are you going to do to me, Cleo cat?"
I didn't answer.
Seeing as we were still parked, Jasper leaned over and jabbed me in the ribs. "Huh? Huh? What are you going to do Cleo cat?" He was jabbing me in the ribs and I couldn't help myself but laugh. I was almost crying. I'm not ticklish but if there were one spot where I may be, it would be my rib cage.
After torchere by tickling we started driving. We told jokes along the way and even I'll admit we were getting along.
When we got to our houses he stopped out the front of mine.
"Thanks Jasper really I mean it." I said undoing my seatbelt.
"Sure thing chicken wing, anything for my kitty!" He winked.
I blushed and got out. I was just walking away, when Jasper rolled down the windows. "Hey cleo?"
"Yea?" I said turning around.
"I'll see you tomorrow Cleo cat!" and with that he drove the remaining two meters Into his own drive way.
That fudging grass hole with balls.
I will get him back for that.
