There's 3 Dixon's?

Chapter 16- birthday girl!

Carl enters the room.

"Hey birthday girl" he smiles.

"Hey blue eyes." I respond.

"How's your arm?" he asked sitting down next to me.

"Gonna have a nasty scar but ill make it." I say looking at my arm.

"I got something for you." Carl says reaching in his pocket.

"Car you didnt have to-" I stop mid sentence because he pulled out a beautiful gold necklace that has a half a heart.

"Where's the other half?" I ask taking it from his hands. (Daryl left the room at the begging).

He pulls the other half of the necklace from underneath his shirt.

"It seems like your always getting hurt." Carl laughs.

"Haha so funny." I smile as I say sarcastically.

I hand Carl the necklace to place around my neck.

"Thank you so much." I pulled him into a hug an he hugs back.

"Anytime." he says.

The next few hours Carl and I just talked, I wasn't supposed to get out of bed, since my arm made my head all loopy, I had a massive headache all day.

"I remember when you and Soph put string cheese on my face." Carl laughs.

"Correction! you did it to yourself." I say poking his nose.

"Right." he said with a smile.

Then Daryl came in.

"Carl your mom wants you for something." He says as he approaches us.

Carl waved goodbye an leaves.

"I'm so glad your okay." He says starting to cry.

"I'm alright don't worry about it." I hate thinking about how bad it could've been.

"I can't loose-" Daryl stops because we hear Shane yelling.

I hobble over to my window and Shane is walking out if the forest with a broken nose.

"Stay here." Daryl says runnin outside.

Carl and Kaiser come in, it's dusk. Getting late outside.

"What do you think happened to Shane?" I ask Carl.

"My guess is that Randall guy." He says sitting next to me.

Next thing you know Rick and Shane went out to look for Randall.

"Lets follow them!" Carl suggested.

"No you guys go. Im gonna go talk to Beth." Kai says slowly leaving the room. Something is telling me that Kai likes Beth.

"Lets go" Carl whispers.

I put my arm in the sling that Hershel gave me to keep my arm elevated.

We sneak out of the house and follow the path Shane and Rick took.

The pathway leads to a field where Shane and Rick are.

Shane is pulling his gun on Rick! why is he doing this?

"What is he doing?" I ask Carl.

"Your guess is a good as mine." he replies.

Rick slowly approached Shane and then stabs him in the gut, I cover my mouth wit my one hand.

"Carl comeback here." I say as Carl takes his gun out of his belt and approaches Rick.

I quickly run up behind Carl.

Carl raises his gun and Rick finds us.

"Guys it isn't what it looks like, put down the gun Carl." Rick says, he doesn't know about Shane, he's turned.

Carl pulls the trigger just as reanimated Shane was about to grab Shane.

Rick turns to see sShane.

Rick runs to us and as we walk back I turn for some reason, as I do I see over 300 walkers coming this way.

"Rick..." I stop him from walking making him turn to see the walkers.

"Go!go!go!" he directs me and Carl to the barn.

We run, then for some reason I become light headed and fall.

"Carl! Rick!" I holler they turn and see that I'm down.

"Run Carl keep going!" Rick says running back for me.

"I'm sorry" I say as he picks me up bridal style.

He runs and we catch up to Carl.

He tells Carl and I to climb up the ladder, how is this gonna work? I can't use my arm!

"Jesse your first" Carl says basically pushing me up the ladder.

Carl was right behind me.

Rick closes the barn doors, while the walkers are trying to break in.

"Rick what're you doing?!" I begin to panic.

"Carl you have that lighter I gave you?" He asks.

Carl nods

"When I say go you drop the lighter alright?" Carl agrees.

Rick quickly lets go of the barn doors running to the back of the barn grabbing the gas can and climbing the ladder. He pours the gas on the walkers and tells Carl to drop the lighter. They walkers catch ablaze but we now had to get out if there.

We look out the big window and Jimmy (Beth's Boyfriend) pulls up in an RV.

Walkers quickly surround the vehicle and attack Jimmy.

"Jump" Rick says to Carl and I so we do, landing on top of the RV and we run, back to the house.

I run into Daryl's arms and apologize for leaving.

We all run for the cars. Avoiding all the dead. I hold onto Daryl's hand as hard as I can and follow him closely.

Then I heard a scream Patricia's scream... I turn to see her getting mauled by walkers while holding onto Beth's hands.

"Jesse hop on!" Daryl says, we've reached his motorcycle.

I hop on the leather seat and we drive off, Carol, Kaiser, Lori, Rick, Carl, Hershel and Beth following us. Andrea was killed...

Maggie and Glenn, we haven't seen em' since dinner.

And once again our home was ripped from our grasp. We are on our own. Again.

This really is a great present for the birthday girl.
