Before you jump into this updated version, I wanted to take a moment to explain why I decided to unpublish the story for a while.

I originally wrote this back in 2017, and since then, a lot has changed. In 2022, I started law school—not as a full-time student, which means I haven't graduated yet.

But along the way, I've learned so much about life, people, and of course, the Philippine law. That growth made me realize: why not apply what I've learned to this story? Not just to improve the reading experience, but maybe even share something meaningful with you.

That said, this story is still fiction. While I've tried to incorporate accurate details and real concepts, please don't treat it as a legal reference—it's definitely not for bar exam prep!

Over the years, I also worked as a content writer for various influencers, which made me step away from Wattpad for a bit.

But honestly, this story has always felt like unfinished business. It haunted me in the best (and worst) way. I couldn't move forward with my other stories until I gave this one the attention it deserves.

So here I am—giving it new life.

The first 3 chapters of the English version are now live. Starting May 11, 2025, I'll be updating 4 times a week.
