Marco, who had also heard the knocking on the door, appeared . He had seen Alex slam the door and was slightly concerned who was behind the door. Hence, his decision to find out.

"Slamming doors is rude," he said as he walked over. He couldn't help but make a snarky comment.

"You're around an awful lot today for someone who complains about me all the time," Alex replied in a harsh tone

"Watch it," Marco warned.

His demeanour changed once again as he went to open the door. He no longer held any annoyance for Alex. If anything, his stance became protective.

When the door was open and he saw who it was, he resisted the urge to smile at the fact a door had been slammed in her face.

His facial expression remained serious,  a hint of anger was present.

He moved so he was in front of Alex , who still stood next to the door.

"You're not welcome here,"

The tone had Alex stepping back.

"Don't speak to me like that, Marco. This is my house too. Where is your father? "

"This isn't your house. Not since you left, "  Marco said and attempted to shut the door

She put her foot in the way though stopping the door from shutting . "The knock was only to be polite," she said and entered the house.

Marco moved again, as Alex had taken a step away from him. He moved to stand  in front of Alex again.  He made sure to block Alex from her view.

The woman simply rolled her eyes. "Where is your father?" she asked.

"His office," Marco told her, knowing their dad would kick her out.

"Perfect,"  she simply headed off towards Rafael's office.

"Who was that?" Alex asked, fear crept in his tone.

"Our mother,"  Marco said.

Alex was left shocked by this. He didn't know what to say.

"Are you ok, Alex?" Marco asked in a tone that could be considered gentle.

"Is she dangerous?" Alex ignored the question.

"No, she won't hurt any of you. I promise, "  Marco said firmly.

"We've been wondering about her for a while now," Alex confessed.

"Ask dad about her. It would be better coming from him. If he refuses, then we'll talk. " Marco knew the triplets deserved the truth, but it was their dad who should be having that conversation with them.

"Now that she's here, he can't dismiss your questions," Marco added.

Marco got out his phone and sent a message on the group chat to give everyone a heads up.

"I need to make sure Skye and James are ok," Alex said, not liking how long it had been.

Marco nodded. "Are they all still outside?"

"Yes," Alex replied.

Marco followed Alex out. Only for Alex to stop and ask why he was following him.
"To check on Nico, I sent a heads up on the group chat that's She's back," Marco replied.

"Oh,"

"What the fuck Marco. Please tell me that what some kind of sick joke"

They had barely made it outside when Nico had approached Marco demanding answers.
