6. Ashton

Luke's dad drove him to school the next day. He was the least bit happy for school today and would probably ditch the first classes.

Luke walked though the doors and almost instantly slipped his earbuds in. He made sure his dad's car was out of sight before walking back out.

He walked until he couldn't see the school. Luke didn't really know where he was walking, he just walked.

He looked down at his feet, bobbing it slightly to the music and didn't notice the curly haired boy walk at his side.

"Shouldn't you be in school?" the curly haired boy asked. Luke jumped, the voice chuckling.

"Shouldn't you?" Luke said. He figured the boy walking next to him was about his age. "I finished early this year" he said. "Now back to you"

"I ditched" Luke shrugged, still looking at his feet.

The boy nodded. "I'm Ashton by the way"

"Luke" he smiled.

"Well since you're already ditching, wanna go grab some coffee?" Luke nodded and they headed to a cafe a few blocks away from them.

At the cafe, the two ordered their drinks and started talking. "So you've played music, in front of people?" Luke asked.

Ashton nodded. "I was in a band but it didn't really work out. Do you play anything?"

"Just some guitar and I sing a little. I've made some covers on YouTube but they're not that good." Luke said and chuckled.

The two talked for a little longer be for exchanging numbers and going back to where they came from.

Luke walked back into the school and said he had car troubles for his tardy, which the teacher bought.

Luke walked in to math, his easiest subject. He saw someone sit beside and and looked up to see who it was. It was a dirty blonde headed girl with blue eyes. He noticed her sleeping with sirens shirt and smiled a little.

Everyone started working on what the teacher, Mr. Langdon, had put on the board. Luke found the girl quite cute and tried to find a reason to talk to her.

"Do you understand the third problem?" He asked, even though he knew the answer.

The girl leaned closer to him, making Luke slightly blush. She checked over the problem then back on his paper. "You forgot to carry the one" she said. Luke nodded, making the mistake on purpose. "Thanks"

"I'm Maddie by the way"

"Luke"

A/N: I'm so sorry for not updating in over a week and then making a short chapter. And ASDFGHJKL I can't believe I got over 100 reads already I know that's not a lot but it's still pretty cool thanks. Oooh fetus Ashton
