*a week later*

The last day of school was always filled with seniors crying and hugging each other and students in groups signing the whole "see you next year!" or "have a great summer!" in yearbooks.

But do Luke it was just another day of school, only slightly better since he wouldn't have to go back to that hell hole for another three months.

Luke unlocked his locker and started putting some of the stuff he would keep in his backpack and threw the rest away.

He was nearly finished when he felt an arm shove him against his locker.

"What the fuck?" Luke half said half shouted, looking up and seeing Michael in front of him.

Michael didn't say anything for a few seconds, just kind of studied the boy in front of him.

"Stay away from Maddie" Michael said coldly.

"And if I don't?"

"You'll regret it" And with that Michael walked away.

~~~~~~~
After stopping and getting something to eat as a mini celebration for surviving his first horrid year of high school, Luke made it home and plopped on his bed.
He was pretty tired from all the shit today and fell asleep, cuddled with his huge stuffed penguin who if anyone found out he had, Luke would bury himself in a hole and die.
~~~~~~~~~

Michael's "friends" found out about Maddie since one of them is the brother of the sorority girls at the burger joint, who had a pretty big mouth.

They thought it'd be a wonderful idea for him to tell Luke to back off and so that's how he ended up face to face with the blonde.

Now when most people who have someone they can't stand pressed against lockers, they usually don't stare at them and take in in all of their features.

But somehow every time Michael got the chance to look at Luke, he would admire every- what the fuck? Why was he thinking like this?

No no no he did not find Luke attractive or any guy for that matter. Michael was fully straight and he had Maddie to prove it.

When Michael got home that day he saw a moving van and his parents loading boxes in it outside. He tossed his bag on the ground and started putting some boxes in the van.

"How was your last day?" His mom asked, hugging him.

"Good" he replied with a smile.

His dad came out of the house with the last few boxes and put them in the van.

"That's all of it" his dad said. "I took some of the big furniture there while you were at school."

"So we're going to the new house right now?" Michael asked, grabbing his school bag.

His dad nodded. "If you're ready to go"

Michael grabbed the keys to his car and got in, following his dad in the moving truck with his mom behind him in her car.

They arrived at the new house about twenty minutes later and Michael thought it looked pretty nice.

Michael had only seen pictures of the house online and it was nothing extravagant, but looked cozy, like a home should look.

His dad unlocked the van and they started getting boxes and taking them inside.

It was a two story house and Michael's room was on the second floor. He walked up the stairs to the only bedroom up there and set the boxes he had in his arms down.

The bedroom was a decent size with a bathroom and a window large enough for him to fit out of by a small walk in closet.

His dad came in with a few more boxes labeled MIchael's
room' and set them on the floor.

"How do you like the house so far?" His dad asked, leaning against the wall.

"Its pretty good" he said opening one of the boxes full of clothes.

~~~~~~~
A few hours later Michael and his parents finished getting all of the boxes out of the moving van and put some furniture in the bedrooms and living room.
Michael sat on his bed and looked at his around his room. He had his dresser and bed set up, but nothing else.
Michael decided to just lay in bed for the rest of the day and decorate his room tomorrow. He positioned himself in one of the most comfortable spots in bed when his mom called him.
He groaned in his pillow and dragged himself downstairs.
"We're going to say hello to the neighbors. Do you wanna come?" His mom asked.
He figured since he was already up to just go. Michael slid on his vans and walked to a house across the street from them.
An elderly couple opened up and his parents introduced themselves then Michael, who just sent a small smile and wave.
After a few minutes of talking, his parents said goodbye decided to go to the next house.
This house was beside their house on the left, the side where Michael's room was.
His mom rang the doorbell and Michael heard someone yell "I'll get it!" It was opened by a man, maybe around early twenties.
"Hi! We're the Cliffords and we just moved in next door" his mom cheerfully said.
"Shit they don't have a cute daughter" the man mumbled lowly before smiling and putting his hand out to shake. "I'm Ben"
After he said that a couple, probably his parents came behind him.
"Hey Andrew!" His dad said. He told Michael how they were moving next to one of his co-workers.
Michael kind of zoned out of the conversation until he heard his name.
"This is our son Michael" he looked and saw two other people had come to the doorway.
One just had to be Luke Hemmings.
