Chunin Challenge: Rock Lee vs Sasuke!

"Come on, Ryuko. Let's go," Sasuke calls out as he starts walking away.

I hold eye contact with Neji for a moment before turning on my heel, my hair whipping slightly as I follow Sasuke.

"Hey, you with the attitude! Hold on!" Lee shouts.

We both stop and turn around to see what he wants.

"Hn. What do you want?" Sasuke asks, uninterested.

"I want to fight. Right here, right now," Lee announces confidently.

"You want to fight me, here and now, huh?"

"Yes. My name is Rock Lee. And you're Sasuke Uchiha, right? Everyone talks about how great the Uchiha clan is. I want to see if that's true. I figured you'd be the perfect test."

"I'm an Uchiha too, you know," I chime in. "Does that mean you want to fight me as well?"

Lee turns to me with a sparkle in his eye. "Ryuko, I love you. You're an angel sent from heaven!"

He blows a kiss, sending a floating heart my way. I casually tilt my head to the side, letting it hit the pillar behind me with a splat.

"That was a good move... but let's see you dodge this!" He sends a barrage of floating hearts.

I sigh, draw a kunai, and slice through every single one of them midair.

"Tch. Leave my sister alone," Sasuke growls.

"I'd rather have a hand-to-hand fight than dodge his weird romantic attacks," I mutter.

"You don't have to be so negative, Ryuko," Lee sulks.

"You've heard of the Uchiha clan, and you're still challenging me? You must be crazier than you look—if that's even possible," Sasuke snaps. "You want to learn more about our clan? I'll teach you—the hard way."

"Bring it on," Lee responds eagerly.

"Hold it!" Naruto shouts, suddenly jumping between them. "This weirdo's mine!"

"Go for it," Sasuke shrugs.

"Naruto!" Sakura yells in protest.

"He wasn't here for you, Naruto," I point out.

"What? It'll only take me two minutes to have this guy begging for mercy!" Naruto insists.

"No thank you," Lee says politely. "Right now, the only one I want to fight is Sasuke."

"Told you," I add smugly.

"Yeah? Well, I got news for you—Sasuke can't compare to me! Believe it!" Naruto charges at Lee with full confidence.

Lee remains completely still. As Naruto lunges with a fist, Lee redirects the blow with his palm and shoves him aside. Naruto catches himself with his hands and attempts a spinning kick, but Lee dodges again and leg-sweeps Naruto's arms, sending him tumbling into a wall with a crash.

"Just accept it—you have no chance. Your skills are inferior," Lee declares. "Sasuke, out of all the Leaf Genin, I am the best. Fight me, and I'll prove it."

"Hm. This'll be fun. Let's do it," Sasuke agrees, his smirk returning.

"There's no time, Sasuke! We have to register by 3—we've got less than half an hour!" Sakura says worriedly.

"Sasuke, hurry up and fight him already before you make us late," I grumble, plopping down near a pillar.

"Relax. This'll be over in five seconds," Sasuke says confidently, charging at Lee and throwing a punch.
