It was a peaceful night, and you hadn't even changed out of your sweatshirt and jeans when there was a knock at your window. It wasn't uncommon, you knew it was your best friend,
Ciel Phantomhive.
He came to your window all the time. He lived only four houses down, and it was his idea in the first place. Usually, you two just talk about nonsense like what tv shows were better, or your favorite colors, But it was the most fun you could ever have with him.
Tonight was no different, he sat on your windowsill and you talked until midnight. He came over mostly because lately his parents had been fighting, and he just wanted to get away for a while. He always trusts you to make him smile.
As he climbed back down tonight though, he hesitated. And as he looked back up he hugged You.
When he let you go he rushed back down and rushed back home. Your were left at your window staring after the bluenette.
You slept peacefully. Uknowing that tomorrow would be much different.
