On the run (Ciel x reader)

Staring Up.

In the dwindling afternoon, the changing trees looked beautiful.

Ciel and Alois were talking about something, and You were talking to Claude. You all were sitting in a baron field. No cars were driving on the road, So you all could sit in peace. Nobody would be able to See you throught the trees anyway.

"You cant be serious!" You cried in surprise. "No I am, I really did have a pet spider." He said. Your eyes went wide. "I named it squash." He chuckled a little, "What's weird is how it died." He said. 

"What? Did it get squashed?" You said sarcastically. He shook his head,

"No, it was ran over by a kids Bike." He said seriously. 

You burst out laughing. "Really??" He nodded. Sebastian came over and you calmed yourself. He asked "What's so funny?" You looked at Claude and whispered, "Squaaassshhh" And both of you burst into laughter.

Later on, it was dark. The five of you had started a fire out of branches and leaves because it had gotten colder (which made Ciel grumble things like "Oh look at that it is a warm night, huh Sebastian?"). Everyone was sitting around the fire. Sebastian Between Claude and Ciel, Alois next to Claude, And you Between Alois and Ciel. (For good reason. The two would only argue if it were any other way.) 

For nearly an hour the five of you joked and talked. You couldn't help but notice, though, that Ciel seemed a little more distracted than usual. You thought it was just because of the radio thing until he pulled you away, into the woods.

"Ciel, where are we going?" You asked. He stopped when you were far enough that no one would be able to see you two.

"Look, I know I dragged you into all this, and I know you didn't deserve to be taken away from your family, but I have to say something and if I don't i feel like I'll die...." He paused to look at your expression. You were hanging on to his every word, worried that it was about his dad.

"Okay, Look. I love you. And I know that now isn't a good time to say things like this, especially when running from the law, but I love you. I've loved you since I first met you. I'm only just being an idiot now to say it. I-" He was interrupted by you wrapping your arms around him and kissing him. He was shocked for a moment. and to be honest, so were you. Slowly though, he closed his eyes and kissed back.

When you two pulled away, the only thing you could think to say was, "I love you too, Ciel."

That was all he ever wanted to hear.
