You gasped. He continued on.
"I tried to leave, and to go see you, but i could barely stand at that moment. I soon went up to my room and was going to meet you, but my mother and father started screaming. I still can't remember what about, but I stayed." He laughed bitterly. "I stayed like the idiot I am. I went downstairs. While I was heading down, I heard a thud . When I got to the bottom floor, I saw nothing, Heard nothing. but...." He paused, "After a moment, I was tackled. My father pinned me down and held a knife to my neck."
He pulled the car over and put his face in his hands. You crawled over to him and sat in his lap, putting your arms around his neck, comforting him.
"He told me he would kill you."
Your eyes widened.
"I told him wouldn't leave you, and that's when he started this sick game. That's when he called the cops, and that's when I came to get you" You pulled him closer, and soon both of you were in a deep sleep.
