To Be In The Dark

You stood in shock as he ushered you to a chair nearby. You uttered questions at a mile a minute, none of which he answered. He quickly gave you a glass of water and you realized how much your throat burned. You greatfully took the glass and drank it slowly. You took the time to look around and realized you were in an old house. The carpet, once white, was now a pale yellow. The table you were laying on was a dining table with a green tablecloth. There were bandages and a bottle of rubbing alcohol on it. Your hand trailed to your head and felt the rough texture of bandages wrapped around your head tightly. You took a deep breath.

Once you had your thoughts together you looked up at him.
"What are you doing here? Where am I? How long have I been out?" you asked these questions at a rapid pace, not wasting a second. Ciel was in prison for something he didn't do, and you didn't have any time to spare.

Grell smiled tiredly, "Why don't you ask him." He pointed behind you. You turned around in your chair and saw Sebastian layed on a couch you'd probably see in your grandmother's living room. He even had a tacky knitted quilt on him. You raised your eyebrows in surprise. You had thought he was in jail.

But you pushed all questions away once he woke up.
He sat up slowly, almost drunkenly, and you realized that that may have been the most comfortable he's been in years. He raised his eyes to you and stood up. He let his face soften to a relieved smile and sighed, "You're okay. That's a relief. Its been days..." He let his shoulders relax a fraction from their taut position. There was relieved silence for a minute until you spoke up, "Where am I? And what do you mean 'it's been days'?".
Sebastian turned his attention to the window and you did as well, noticing the bright rays that streamed through the dark green curtains. You assumed it was morning, maybe 10 a.m., and stood up.

"You've been passed out for days. I guess from exhaustion. I don't think you properly slept on that little adventure, and running down that road tired You out." Grell explained.

Sebastian never stopped looking out the window as he spoke, " I was going to try to find your house. I knew you wouldn't just let Ciel go to jail. You don't seem like the kind of person to just quit. Surely you have a plan, right?" his eyes remained empty but his voice was worried, "You wouldn't have been on that road unless you had a plan." he looked you directly in the eyes. You felt your pocket and a small rectangular shape met your fingers. Your eyes turned to Grell.

"I was looking for you. I thought Sebastian was in jail..." realization hit you, "What about Alois and Claude?!?"

Sebastian sighed, "Alois is in the hospital for his wound, Claude is with him. He was brought to the hospital in the next town over, which isn't far, luckily. We could head over there and visit, and you could tell us that plan of yours."

You looked Sebastian in the eye, "Lets get to that hospital then."
