The door was beat on mercilessly.
"Open the door! We will not hesitate to use force!"
Ciel shot up. He grabbed your arm and dragged you to the wall farthest from the door and said, "Don't worry. I've got you. Just stay away from the door" And with that he stood in front of you. Sebastian, Alois and Claude were up immediately. Everyone knew there was no way out. The room was on the middle floor. No windows were in the bathroom and even if there were it's too high off of the ground to jump.
You were trapped.
Ciel risked a glance around and as did you.
BANG BANG BANG
"Are those gunshots?!?!?" Ciel asked, panicked. Sebastian nodded. Alois was hiding behind Claude. He was crying with his arms around Claude waist while Calude held one of Alois' hands. Your heart ached to comfort him.
CRACK
The door burst open in a shower of splinters. A tall, slim police officer stood in the doorway with his handgun pointed directly at you and Ciel.
"Put your hands up! " everyone did as told.
With the exception of Ciel. He kept one of his hands in yours. You were still behind him hiding.
"Ciel Phantomhive! Put your hands in the air!"
Ciel didn't move.
The officer asked once again. "This is the last time I will say this. Put. Your hands. In the air."
Just listen to him!
Ciel didn't move.
Your heart seized as you heard the gunshot. Everything was in slow motion. The discharge of smoke from the gun waved like a curtain in the heavy air. But one thing was important in this scene...
Ciel wasn't shot.

But Alois layed on the floor in a pool of seemingly black blood, unmoving.
