You woke up in the back of the car with Ciel on the next to you, his head against the window. Your drowsiness is like a thick cloud on your vision. You could hear an argument of some sort going on between Alois, Sebastian, And Claude.
"You're holding the damn thing upside down!" Sebastian said angrily.
"Well, maybe if you'd give me some damn elbow room I would be able to fix it." Alois called.
"Just put it away! We don't need a map right now!" Claude snapped. You heard a paper crinkle and Alois sighed. You sat up completely and Sebastian sat back from his place in-between the drivers and passengers seat. "Hey! Look who's up! Took ya long enough. I nearly ripped our drivers head off." You chuckled. It had gotten cold in the car, and the non-working heater didn't help. You smiled at the thought that it was October, and Halloween was fast approaching. It was only three days away.
An old tradition ran through your head,
FLASHBACK
You and Ciel were only seven at the time, but you were old enough to know how to play cruel pranks. Playing dead on neighbors yards, Ringing the doorbell and running, The possibilities were always endless. This year though, something would go horribly wrong.
You and Ciel ran through the chilly air from your other friends, playing hide and seek as the leaves crunched under your feet and you giggled childishly.
Both of you hid behind a pile of leaves, smiling at each other and shushing each other when you laughed. It was quiet until you heard your seeker come closer. You made a quick Idea to run as fast as you could and Ciel did as well. A twig snapped and you bolted away with Ciel not far behind.
That is, until you heard the wheezing.
You turned around to see Ciel on the ground coughing and spluttering. Your seeker was nowhere around and all you saw was a dog. You ran up to Ciel ,Thinking it was a prank
"C'mon Ciel get up it's not funny!" you said innocently. Ciel stayed down coughing and wheezing and you knew it wasn't a joke anymore. You stood to run but Ciel Grabbed your hands and pulled you down, "Don't *wheeze* lea-*cough*- Leave me" He said desperately and passed out. You nearly cried and ran away, but Ciel wanted you to stay with him, and you would no matter what. "Help! Please! Help! He cant breathe! Help!" You called repeatedly until a neighbor came to help a few seconds later. They called an ambulance, and you stayed by Ciels side even when they put him in the screaming vehicle. When he woke up in the hospital later, he asked why you didn't run. Your answer was the most mature a seven year old girl can get,
"You told me to stay with you, and I wouldn't leave you alone. Not for anything in the world."
NOMOREFLASHBACK
You smiled slightly, a single tear cascading down your face as you thought,
Not for anything in the world
