Chapter 22

Tris POV
I may have gotten better with Tobias but that doesn't mean I am going to the party. It is lunch but I don't feel like eating now. So I just roam around the school alone.

I walk into my next class, Music. Tobias isn't there yet. So I sit down at my place and wait. The teacher comes in starts class. He still isn't here. Where is he? Minutes later, he comes in looking very mad. What got into him?
"You're late." Ms. Wu states.
"Well, I am sorry. It won't happen again." He says. He comes and sits next to me but he doesn't smile at me. Instead, he gives me a look of hatred and turns away. What happened?

School's finally over. I walk to my car but I don't see Tobias waiting for me. I look around and see him with Zeke. I go up to him. He doesn't even acknowledge me.
"Well, I don't even know what I did and it's not even fair for me but still, I am sorry. For whatever, that I did to make you angry." I say, trying not to cry.
"Well, don't act innocent. You are cheating, on me." He says and I stand there, looking as if he just punched me or something.
"What?" I say, my voice breaking. "Whoever told you that?"
"Lauren. She showed me a picture of you and some guy I don't even know, kissing. Am I not good enough? You could have told me that." He says, his eyes pooling with tears. Wait, what?! She is ruining this for me again!
"But that's not-"
"Don't say anything!" He yells at me, tears streaming down his face.
"Tobias-"
"Don't call me that." He says quietly.
"Okay, Four, please hear me out! It is not true! Please! You really think I would cheat on you?" I ask him.
"Well, I didn't believe it at first but I saw a photograph of it." He says. He whips out his phone and does something. A while later, my phone beeps.
"Goodbye, Tris." He says and leaves in Zeke's car. I take a look at what he sent me and wait...it is a photograph of me and a guy I don't even know. Kissing. I don't even remember this guy. Hell, I don't even know. Wait, I think Lauren photoshopped it. And she certainly has talent in that. It looks so real. This is it. I have had enough. I am going to break her mask and get Tobias back. I wipe my face as a new found determination rises within me. She has gone too far this time.

I will break her mask right now or my name isn't Tris Prior.
