Chapter 6

It's been three days since Mr. & Mrs. Fuentes came here and inform me about the wedding.

"Jhean?" Tawag sa akin ni Lean.

"Hmmnn?"

"Alam mo ba kung anong araw ngayon?"

"It's july 7 at wala tayong trabaho dahil renovation ngayon ng hotel."

" My god Jhean, I'm not referring to that thing."

"Then what?"

" 4 days to go and it'll be your wedding."

Yeah! She opened that topic again.

"Arrgghh! Let's not talk about that thing." Asar kong sabi sa kaniya.

"Okay. Chill!"

"Whatever." sabi ko sabay irap sa kanya.

Tumahimik siya saglit pero maya maya ay nagsalita na ulit siya.

"But did you accept it already? That you are getting married?"

"No." Tipid kong sagot.

"But you have nothing to do with it. Maybe it's your destiny."

Destiny? There's no such thing as destiny.

"But I can escape that destiny you know."

Aileanna's POV

"But you have nothing to do with it. Maybe it's your destiny.

Totoo naman diba. You have nothing to do with it but to accept it.

"But I can escape that destiny you know."

WHAT ??

Is she insane? Why would she do that? This is not a game as far as I know.

"But how will you do that?"

"Simple. I will not going to attend that wedding and I will go home to the province and start again a new life there."

Ohh great just great! That's an stupid idea. Sino namang tanga ang gagawa nun? Siya? Geezz!

"It's easy for you to say that huh."

"Bakit hindi mo na lang ako supurtahan?"

Why would I do that?

"Support you? With that stupid idea of yours?"

She's being an immature if she would do such thing as like that. Tumayo na ako para umakyat sa taas pero tumigil muna ako saglit para sabihin ito sa kanya.

"Be mature enough to accept the truth. Kasi hindi lahat ng bagay tinatakbuhan all you need is to face it."

And with that I totally leave her dumbfounded.

Jheanna's POV

Nagulat ako sa sinabing yun ni Lean kaya hindi na ako umimik at hinyaan na lang siya na umalis.

I sighed.

Maybe she's right. I'm being an immature if I will going to do that kind of thing.

Ma, Pa. Sana kung nandito kayo hindi ako nahihirapan ng ganito.

Sino kaya yun? Wala naman akong alam na darating ngayon. Tumayo na lang ako para tingnan kung sino ang kumakatok.

Pagkabukas ko ng pintuan tumambad ang mukha ni Elli sa aking harapan.

Elizabeth's POV

"Where are you going?"

The heck! I was about to open the door when my mom ask me that question.

"Work." I replied without looking at her.

"Work? You don't have work today right?"

"Look Mom. I'm going to my friend's house that's all."

"Did I allow you to-"

I didn't let her finish on what she's about to tell me because if I do that  I may not be able to go.

"Have to go Mom."

After that I run through the door and make my way to my car.

I hop in and started the engine and make my way to St. Luis where Jheanna's house was located.

After 30 minutes of driving finally I reached their house. I park my car and make my way to the door.

I knock for about 3 times and the door was opened.

" Elli?"

I can see that confused look on her face but I ignore it.

"Yes it's me dear."

"Pumasok kana muna."

So pumasok na nga ako dahil yun naman ang sabi niya.

Pagkapasok ko nakita ko si Lean na bumababa ng hagdan.

" Elize, what are you doing here."

"Came here to visit you."

Mas maganda na rin na may makasama ko ang mapapangasawa ng pinsan kong si Jc.

After having some fun I decided to go home and I really enjoy their company.

Sana naman magustuhan ng pinsan ko si Jheanna.
