Hi everyone,
I just wanted to leave a quick message to say that I'm sorry — I've been in a bit of a slump with Underneath the Moonlit Night lately. My thoughts have been all over the place, and I realized I need to take a short break to step back, collect myself, and reorganize everything properly before I continue.
In the meantime, if anyone here loves heist stories — especially Ocean's Eleven (which I'm a huge fan of!) — I wanted to share something new I've been working on during my break.
It's a heist story in an Ocean's Eleven style, featuring all of my original characters from Underneath the Moonlit Night alongside the Mo Dao Zu Shi characters you already know.
Qing Yi is still the main character (of course!), paired with Lan Xichen, set in a modern alternate universe centered around the high-stakes casino world.
You'll see familiar faces like Jing Xiang, Jing Shi, and all the MDZS cast — but this time, the three clans are portrayed as powerful casino magnates, with the Lan brothers rising fast and dominating Macau's gambling empire.
Meanwhile, our professional heist crew — Wei Wuxian, Qing Yi, Jiang Cheng, and others — are coming together to pull off the ultimate takedown.
I tried to capture the fast pace, the tension, and the technical brilliance that makes Ocean's Eleven so much fun, and present it here for anyone who might enjoy it.
