Aubrey

"Aubrey!" Shawn yelled from downstairs.

"Hold on!" I yelled back fixing my outfit.

"Jack's here!"

I grabbed my beach bag and ran down.

"Bree, where are you going?" I heard Ally ask as I put on my shoes.

"To the beach."

"Can I come?" She asked.

"I'll take you some other time, okay?"

"Okay, bye bye." I kissed her cheek.

"Bye bye."

"Bye, Bree." Shawn said. I nodded. He grabbed my wrist and whispered, "Don't do anything you'd regret."

I pulled my wrist away from him and hugged Gilinsky.

"See you, man." Jack waved to Shawn before opening the passenger door for me.

"Thanks." I blushed.

"Anything for a girl like you." He flashed me a smile.

He turned on the radio and pulled out of the driveway.

As we drove to the beach we sang along to the radio and danced in our seats. I actually forgot about Shawn until Ed Sheeran played.

"I love this song." Jack said turning the volume up.

"Same, Ed's amazing." I agreed.

We got to Malibu half an hour later and got our surfboards.

"First one to catch a wave gets ice cream from the loser!" I yelled running into the water with my board.

"Challenge accepted!" Jack ran in after me.

I paddled to a wave and positioned my board. I looked over to Jack who was already riding a wave. He's gorgeous. I forgot about the wave coming towards me and fell off my board.

I quickly resurfaced and climbed back onto my board and just sat there, letting my legs dangle in the water.

Jack paddled towards me and did the same.

"I'll have a scoop of chocolate please."

I rolled my eyes, "I'll get you next time, Gilinsky."

"There's a wave over there." He pointed. "Last one there has to take the winner out for dinner."

I furiously paddled and positioned myself. Gilinsky was trailing behind me, obvious that I have won.

Once I felt the wave hit, I stood up and rode it.

I paddled back to Jack, "I'll have Chipotle, please."

After surfing some more we sat on our boards, watching the sunset together. It was probably the cheesiest thing ever, but oh well.

"We need to do this more often." Jack broke the silence.

"Definitely."

"I'm sorry about the Madison thing." He blurted out randomly.

"Don't worry about it." I smiled warmly.

"So we're good?"

"We good." I laughed.

"We should head back now, I still owe you chipotle."

"And I owe you that chocolate ice cream."

We went back to shore and got our stuff. I put my coverup on and grabbed my bag to change.

After changing in the washroom, I met Gilinsky outside talking to some guy.

"Hey, Bree, this is my friend, Nick." He introduced me to a really attractive guy.

"Hey!" I shook his hand.

"Hey, beautiful."

Jack cleared his throat.

Nick's eyes widened, "Oh sorry, man. Are you guys-"

"We should get going." Jack interrupted holding my hand.

"It was nice meeting you." I waved to Nick.

We walked into chipotle and placed are orders.

"Thanks." I took a bite out of my chicken burrito.

"No problem."

"What happened over there with that Nick guy?" I asked.

"My throat was itchy."

"Why'd we have to leave so soon?"

"I was hungry."

I didn't want to annoy him with all these questions so I left it with that and continued eating my burrito.
