"How are we supposed to find this guy? We have no information about him." I was starting to get impatient.

"That's when plan B comes in handy." Jack said.

"Plan B?"

"Ally."

"That's why we brought her.." I gestured towards Ally who was sleeping in the back.

"Yeah." Jack nodded slowly.

I got into the back to wake her up.

"Al, wake up." I poked her.

She stirred before fluttering her eyes open.

"We're at mommy's house."

"Aw why?" She groaned.

"She has a surprise for you." Jack lied.

"Ooh what is it?" Ally asked.

"It wouldn't be a surprise if I told you." He said.

She crossed her arms.

"Maybe I can tell you, only if you do something for me." Jack teased.

"What? What?"

"Here's a mic, don't touch it, I have to hear what's your mommy is saying."

I clipped on her mic to her shirt.

"Why?"

"Because, we can't be there for the surprise and we want to know what happens." I lied.

"Oh okay!"

"And promise me you won't tell mommy about the surprise or the mic." Jack said. "Pinky promise."

"Okay, now what's the surprise?" She asked eagerly.

"It's inside."

"But you said you will tell me."

"No, when did I say that?" Jack pretended to be confused which was so adorable.

"Okay, no one talk." I shushed them and dialed Claire's number.

"Hey, Claire. I have another shift today and Shawn can't take care of her, so if you're free-"

"Yeah, do you want me to pick her up?"

"No, I can drop her off, we'll be there in ten."

I quickly hung up.

After reviewing the plan again, I walked Ally to the door.

"Hey, baby!" Claire picked up Ally.

"Hi mommy."

"Well, I should get going, I'll see you at five?"

Claire shut the door. I gave Gilinsky a thumbs up.

"Is the mic working?" I asked him.

"Wait... Yup."

"Someone's at the window, drive!"

Gilinsky turned and parked the car where we couldn't be seen.

"Wait, listen."

Jack turned the volume up.

"You stay down here and watch Dora while, I go upstairs, okay?" I heard Claire say.

"She doesn't even like Dora." I scoffed.

The mic was silent for a few minutes, all you could hear was Dora in the back ground.

"This is boring!" I heard Ally huff.

"I'm gonna head home now, see you tomorrow babe." I heard a man say.

"Bye, Ally." The man said.

"Bye, Nick." Ally said.
