It was raining hard as I was walking home from school. I missed my bus and forgot my homework at school, oh well, it wasn't very important anyway. When I approach my house, an ambulance was pulled up into my driveway as paramedics zipped up body bag after body bag. I watched as my family was taken away from me forever.
The funeral wasn't so bad, a few people cried and it rained a lot, no big deal. My grandmother made me lay flowers on my mothers grave but I didn't want to because I didn't want to say good bye; I was never really good at saying that.
I started walking home as the rain came down hard on my already aching body, it was so quite I could hear the sound of the raindrops hit the soft green grass, I walked into my now empty and sad house as I held back my tears."I'm sorry I wasn't home to save you mom" I cried as I felt my fathers hands on my shoulders. "Its alright shade, your mother wasn't worth much anyway" he smirked as he picked me up. "Put me down!" I tried to get away but he just looked at me before he threw me in moms room and locked the door.
