Chapter 14
"I only accept sponge bob or the vampire diaries, none of this Orange is the new black bullshit." I huffed as Levi looked through his Netflix.
Levi and I sat his bed with his iPad in front of us. I was given a glass of tap water that did in fact taste like heaven and a Reece's cup which Levi gave up for me. Every bite I took from it, Levi looked at me with envy.
"If you are going to take half an hour to eat that thing then I will steal it from you." Levi warned and I raised my eyebrows at him.
"You wouldn't!" I replied whilst taking a tiny bite then a sip from heaven.
"Wanna bet?" He smirked then he grabbed my arm to try and take the Reece's from my hand. I yanked my hand away and quickly shoved the whole thing in my mouth. "All I wanted was a bite!"
"No." I tried to say as I chewed down the food.
"For that we are watching Orange is the new black." Levi decided as he clicked on the first episode.
"Nope!" I yelled as I snatched the iPad from his grasp and put on the vampire diaries. "Damon is beautiful, you'll love it."
"I am not interested in hot guys running around sucking blood. Oh wait- who's that?" He smirked as he pointed to Nina Dobrev.
After finding out she was the main character he happily sat for half an episode before he got a call from the spawn of satan.
"Shit," he ran his hand through his hair as he looked out his window. I couldn't hear what Daniella was saying but I could tell it was a load of bullshit with Levi's replies.
"Uh no. For fucks sake, we don't need to see each other every hour of every day. No I'm with a friend." My heart leapt out of my chest. Friends is much better than 'creepy stalker'. "Hunter. Don't say that. For your information she is way too interested in Damon to be bothered about me." True. "Don't even bother ruining their date. I do not give a shit if you think Drew is better than me. You know what? Fuck off. I can't be dealing with your shit right now." Levi angrily pushed the 'end call' button on his iPhone then slammed it onto his desk.
"That would've been so much cooler if you had a flip phone." I commented when he turned to face me. A small smile formed on his face which I was glad to see.
He sat back down beside me and hit play on the episode we were watching without saying a word. We must've watched about three episodes before he finally spoke to me again. I knew he wasn't paying attention to them, neither was I because of him. He kept moving around and fidgeting with his sweater sleeve. It was as if something was bothering him. I just didn't know what.
"How's things going with Isaac?" Levi asked me. I turned my face to look at him and he gave me a small grin.
"Good." I lied but still managed to smile back. "How's you an Daniella?"
"Good." I knew he was lying to me too and he probably knew I was lying to him.
I assumed him and Daniella weren't doing good after that phone call. It didn't sound like a healthy relationship to me. I wouldn't expect it to be healthy since he's dating the devil's child. Their relationship reminded me of beauty and the beast, apart from the girl was the beast but inside and out. I like to think that I'm the beast but only on the outside. Nah, I'm hot as fuck.
"Are we going to watch this all night or can we do something else?" Levi asked before I could press play on the episode.
"It's your house, we can do whatever you want." I shrugged and he smirked slightly before standing from his bed.
"Whatever I want? Huh." He tapped his chin to indicate that he was thinking about what we could do and I instantly became scared. "When I was little I absolutely loved the wii." He opened his bedroom door and motioned for me to leave his room.
I began to walk down the stairs and into his living room behind him. He stopped me from sitting on his leather couch then brought out two of the plastic guitars for the game 'guitar hero' from behind his couch.
He handed me one with a smirk plastered across his face. "My favourite game was guitar hero. Never lost to anyone before."
"You think that you are going to beat someone who is doing grade eight guitar at the school she has a music scholarship for?" I raised my eyebrows at him with a smirk and he nodded.
"Fine, show me your skills then." I winked at him so he turned on the wii and selected some old rock song. "Best out of three wins."
Twenty one old rock anthems, three arguments and the breaking of a lamp later I was crowned champion of Guitar Hero. I stood on his couch belting out Run The World by Beyoncé as Levi lay on the ground, pretending to cry.
"I keep beating you at everything you are good at." I smirked at Levi as he gave me a glare. "I bet the captain of the football team at football and now I've bet him at Guitar Hero?! I must be amazing at everything."
"Last year I bet you at the mental maths quiz!" Levi shouted and a small flutter of butterflies emerged at my stomach. I never thought he would remember something like that. Obviously I did since he spoke to me the whole period.
"Yeah okay, nerd." I scoffed then jumped down so that I was sitting on the couch. Levi got up and sat next to me.
"I know your weakness." He whispered then casually turned on the telly and ignored the weird looks I gave him. "You don't like my hands." He put his hands out in front of my face and I slapped them away.
"What the fuck?" I asked him and he wiggled his eyebrows then began to move closer to me. I began to move away from him as I was becoming pretty scared. Of fucking course the guy I love ends up a serial killer, just my fucking luck.
"Remember when you kicked Ethan in the balls when he tickled you at Dylan's fifteenth birthday party?" He brought up one of the only interactions I had ever really had with Ethan. Ethan trapped me in a corner when he found out I hated being tickled, so I kicked him in the balls so hard that he cried. He was convinced he would never have children, it was that bad. He deserved it though.
"Woah, look friends is on! I love this show." I chirped as I slowly stood from the couch, no way in hell was I letting Levi tickle me. I would end up hurting him.
A fucking zoo formed in my stomach when Levi's hands found my waist. As much as I tried to squirm away from him he still managed to pull me towards him. He pushed me back down onto the couch and gave me a smirk.
I erupted in a fit of giggles as he tickled around my waist. I was honestly trying so hard to not kick him.
"This is revenge for stealing my ball and my crown at guitar hero!" He declared as I tried to push him off of me.
"Please! Please get off of me! I'm sorry!" I pleaded through gasps. I didn't mind the fact that he was touching me, well he was actually fucking straddling me. I grabbed his wrists to try and get him to stop because if he didn't stop he wouldn't be having children like Ethan.
I pushed them so that he was a full arm length away from me and he watched me with a smile as I tried to regain my breath. God, he was so beautiful.
He never pulled away from my grasp that was probably way too tight around his wrists, instead he decided to propose a deal.
"I won't tickle you anymore as long as you don't tell a soul that you bet me at guitar hero."
"Can't we be the king and queen of the game?" I asked him then instantly regretted it. He was going to think that I thought we were a thing. Shit. Shit. Shit.
He laughed then nodded his head. "Fine. You've got a deal."
I let go of his wrists so that I could shake his hand. When our hands touched I got that warm feeling in my stomach that I usually got when I ate pizza. I was absolutely, totally, way too deeply in love with this boy. He had me wrapped around his finger and he totally knew.
