Chapter 9
Do you ever just do that dreadful thing where you think about the future and realise you don't have one? Because I do it at least three times a day and always end up in a state of panic when I realise that my future is nonexistent unless Levi takes me under his wings and shows me the life of the rich and beautiful.
Every time I looked at the ball he was forced to give me I can't help but think of how sweet and kind he was. Then I remember that he is fucking dating, yes you read that right, dating Daniella.
"How could he do this? How? How?!" I shouted at Dylan and Maisie, as I spun around on my spinny chair in my bedroom.
"He's an arsehole. You deserve a nice man who can drive and has a job so that he can take you on cute dates. Oh! And he can give you flowers or stuff instead of fucking muddy footballs." Dylan was almost as angry as me.
"Mr I hate Daniella, is now probably getting an STD from her as she fucks him in an alley behind Tesco." I grumbled.
"Classy." Maisie tried to hide a grin as I rambled on about stupid stuff that came to my mind.
I picked up his stupid ball and threw it in the air. Failing to catch it, it smashed into my lamp, sending it to the floor in a crash.
It reminded me of how my life went because of Levi. Everything was going smoothly then bam all of a sudden my life became a mess because of a stupid boy who doesn't even like me sat next to me in geography.
"Look at what he's done now." I whimpered as I got off the chair and fell to my knees beside the broken lamp. "It's crushed, just like my heart and soul." I stroked one of the shards of glass which obviously cut my finger open. "Ripping my skin apart just like how my heart was." I sighed in sadness. "Now my floor is as messy as my life."
"Oh for fucks sake." Dylan was clearly done with my shit but still she got off of my bed and lifted me off of the ground then forced me to sit on my bed. "Look at Maisie and I." They stood in front of me with serious faces. "We are here to help you through this tough time."
"We understand your pain and loss which we are sorry about. Should I tell her about that thing?" Maisie asked Dylan and she got a nod as a response. "The other day we agreed that it's time you met other guys." Maisie told me and Dylan raised her eye brows with a slight smirk.
"So, Drew has selected guys who he think are worthy of your love. I've got the list. Want to see?" She brought the list out from her pocket and sat next to me.
"Guys, no. Levi is the only guy worthy of my love." I protested.
"Hunter, this guy is now dating the enemy. Even before dating her he was boning her. He is not worthy of you love." Maisie sat on the other side of me as she spoke.
"Just look at the list. There's some pretty good guys on there." Dylan handed her it and I began to read the names.
"Austin?! What the fuck, no way." I scored his name out with a pencil then continued. "Who is Luke? Ew no I'm not going anywhere near Sam. Ew these people are all either irrelevant or arseholes." I handed her back the sheet of paper that had like ten names on it.
"I thought that arsehole was your type?" Dylan teased, I gave her my best evil eye and fell back on my bed.
"I just want Levi. No guy compares. Unless Michael Clifford suddenly decides he loves me, the only guy I want is Levi." I told them and they both sighed.
"We have a backup plan." Dylan announced and I stomped my feet.
"I don't care!" I shouted.
"What if I told you that we could make Levi jealous?" Maisie wiggled her eyebrows and I sat up with curiosity.
