"You told me you loved me." Annette said, looking up at Raoul.
"I do love you, and as soon as Christine is out of the picture, I'll have you. And my son." Raoul smiled at her.
"Why do you tell her you love her, if you don't?"
"I just wanted her to come back, so I would have a better chance of getting Gustave back." Raoul replied.
"Monsieur, If I may."
"What?"
"Gustave, he doesn't look anything like you. In any way, is he yours?" Annette asked quietly.
"Yes." Raoul growled, "He's mine."
"I'm sorry. I was just... saying what I thought." Annette frowned.
Raoul looked down at Annette, "It's fine." he pulled her up and kissed her, "Get dressed, She'll be back in about five minutes."
Annette nodded, she watched him get dressed, then stood to get dressed herself.
"One for the road?" Raoul smirked.
"What?" Annette asked.
"You should just walk around the house naked all day, that'd be fine." Raoul roughly kissed her and walked out of the room, he went down stairs and put cologne on to cover up Annette's perfume. He went to the study and looked over to the door as Christine walked in, "Hi, darling." he grinned.
"Hello." Christine said, "You know, I saw Henrietta today. She said you fired her a few days ago, but she'd doing great now, she said she married her fiancée and lives in a big house. She invited Gustave and I over for tea next week." Christine looked at him.
"You can't go." Raoul said.
"I can, and I will, actually. Thank you." Christine said sternly, "And tomorrow, I am going to the opera house whether you like it or not because when I moved back in, I believe I did have circumstances."
Raoul huffed, "Do what you want. Gustave is staying with me."
"You are just a big ball of hilarious sunshine today, aren't you?" Christine said, "No, see, Gustave is my son. He comes with me, he doesn't stay with people like you. Who could potentially be dangerous."
Annette came down stairs and looked at Christine, "Madame, I think you should listen to him. You don't want to make him mad."
"Annette, you don't want to know what I think." Christine glared at her.
Raoul walked over to Christine, "You 'saw' Henrietta today? What did she tell you."
"Nothi-"
"What did she tell you!" Raoul snapped.
"She didn't tell me anything! Was she supposed to tell me something? What the hell have you been doing when I'm gone, Raoul! You're a different man! You're hiding something from me! That's why I left in the first place! Because you're a damn liar!" Christine shouted, "Gustave, let's go."
"Christine, wait..." Raoul muttered.
"Gustave!" Christine hollered.
"Christine..."
Christine grabbed Gustave's hand and led him out the door.
"Bye, Monsieur." Gustave looked back at Raoul, then at Christine, "Where are we gonna go now, momma?"
"To Henrietta's." Christine muttered, "Somewhere I know we won't be bothered."
"For how long?" Gustave asked.
"As long as you want, my love." Christine weakly smiled at him, "You know, they have a little girl your age, they adopted her. You two can play."
"I'll have a friend!" Gustave smiled.
"You can play tomorrow, we need to get some sleep." Christine said.
