"She's leaving!" Erik shouted at Madame Giry, "What have I done wrong?"

"You haven't done anything, Erik. Vicomte is sober and wants her back." Madame Giry said, "You need to try to understand."

"Well, I don't."  Erik growled, "I was good to her! Have I cared a little too much? Did I simply love her too much!" he threw his hands in the air and swung at the wall.

"Erik! Love, calm down. I understand you're upset but-" Madame Giry paused, "I remember a few weeks ago, she came and she told me about this dream she had. It was about you and her, you were asking each other questions. You asked her if she still loved Raoul or something I don't quite remember... anyway, my point is that you should go to her and simply ask her what she is feeling."

Erik looked at Madame Giry, "How she is feeling? It is always about how she is feeling! What about how I feel about this! She didn't ask me about this or even say anything! She just says she is going to leave and that's that way it is going to be!" he yelled, "I cannot continue to play her games. One day she will come back and she will want me and I won't be here! I will not be around to even give a damn!"

Madame Girl sat him down, "Shh. I know you are angry. You know you are only saying all of this out of anger, so if you object to her decision so badly, you need to let her know."

"I can't." Erik mumbled, "I have to let her go, like I did the first time... but she came back, so she will again."

"Erik.."

"What." Erik mumbled.

"Go, now." Madame Giry growled.

"I can't!"

"You just don't want to!" Madame Giry shouted, "You are afraid and listen to me Erik, I understand that but if you let her walk out those doors you will never see her again."

Erik became silent, lost in his own thoughts. He just sat there for a few moments before he realized what Madame Giry had just said. That she'd never come back, she knew more than she led on. Erik became angry rather quickly and turned to look at Madame Giry, "Do you know something that I do not?" he growled and stood, "I know she talks to you, about everything, and you know something. Why are you keeping things from me!"

"You need to see her yourself! I cannot tell you, Erik! She trusts me, and you should too. Please speak to her, if you don't you'll regret it." Madame Giry said.
