"Mother, mother wake up!" Gustave shook Christine, "Mother."

Christine moved slightly and rubbed her eyes, "Yes, Gustave." she mumbled.

"You were talking in your sleep... and crying... again... about me... and someone named Erik. Are you all right, Mother?" Gustave frowned.

Christine looked at Gustave, "Nothing," she looked down, "Is- Is Henrietta home?"

"Yes, mother. She is still here," Gustave spoke quietly, he looked down, "What is going to happen to you and father?"

Christine looked at her obvious distraught son, she didn't know exact what she had said while dreaming, but she did know what had went on in her dream, "Gustave, I have to tell you a secret." she mumbled, "You can't tell anyone, all right?"

"All right, mother." Gustave sat next to her.

"You're so young, and you may not understand whats going on, but... Raoul isn't your real father, he just raised you, I did something really bad when he and I had first married, and... well... I could never tell him, but now, I have to. I just don't think I'm ready..."

"I know, mother. Aunt Meg said that the masked man was my father, I was going to tell you, but you didn't want to hear about it." Gustave frowned.

"Have you met him?" Christine asked.

"Once or twice, I think."

"You think?" Christine raised an eyebrow.

"Yes, I think."

"Well, he doesn't know about you, I'm going to tell him today when I see him." Christine muttered, "I need you to stay here with Henrietta, all right?"

"Okay, mother." Gustave nodded.

"Good." Christine got up and went downstairs, "Henrietta?" she went into the dining room, "Oh, hello, Charles."

"Good morning, Miss Daaé." Charles smiled.

"Is your wife around?" Christine asked.

"Yes, she's in our room." Charles replied, "I'm sorry about, Vicomte. She didn't want to tell you."

Christine weakly smiled, "I'm actually glad she did, I can move on to... someone else... who truly loves me, hopefully someday." she muttered and went to Henrietta's room, "Henrietta, can you do me a favor?"

Henrietta looked at her and smiled, "Anything. Are you all right?"

Christine nodded, "I need to go talk to someone, can Gustave stay with you?"

"Yes, of course." Henrietta said, "So, how are you? I know it's a lot to take in..."

"I'll be fine, honestly I knew he was lying about something, he became distant, so I left for a few days to get back to my life."

"He became clingy and controlling?" Henrietta asked.

"Yes, he did. I don't know why, he can have Annette. I-" Christine looked at Henrietta, "Never mind."

"You, what?" Henrietta asked.

Christine shook her head, "Nothing, I forgot what I was going to say, but I really have to go. I'll be back in a few hours, I promise."

"Okay, be safe." Henrietta muttered as she left.
