Chapter 11: A Young Brat And His Sister

Several centuries have passed since Lord Veldanava tasked Zelanus to watch over Ivarage and the cryptids alongside Feldway and the angels. Moreover, the Progenitor of Insectars was also given the title of Insect Lord, and his first few children were given the title of Insect Generals.

So far, I see the most potential in Zess, one of Zelanus' eldest children, although I can't fully make this assessment due to not having met all of his children.

Meanwhile, as I sensed before, the angels dealing with the cryptids were changing. Turns out, due to being exposed to Ivarage's magicules for too long, their race has changed from angels to phantoms; beings who have free will as well as a slight craving for destruction, though not as much as the cryptids.

The Primordial Angels, who were fighting the cryptids, had also turned into phantoms. Though my lord was disappointed by this outcome, he kept things as it is as their loyalty to him was still as absolute as ever. He also gave Feldway the title of the Phantom King.

The Demon Peers who had been defeated by Zelanus had fortunately survived, which meant that they would guard the gate assigned to them as usual while Diablo could continue serving me.

However, there is an abnormality, which is Velgrynd's absence from the Heavenly Star Palace. While she planned on staying here now, she suddenly disappeared as she explored the Central World, not showing up for decades.

Anyway, I am currently having a spar with Veldora. The spar is taking place in a parallel dimension I created using [Orion]. It's quite a handy skill, even allowing me to traverse through multiverses at will.

I have traversed through various universes at the time, some of which were highly advanced compared to ours. Others were universes with zero concept of magicules and any sort of magic. Some were already about to end, so I left those.

Surprisingly, several universes had beings who were not only aware of other universes but also wanted to conquer those universes. However, I couldn't let this happen and let the balance of the multiverse be threatened, so I destroyed every single universe that possessed such a being, which became even easier after acquiring [Azathoth].

It may seem extreme, but I thought it to be necessary, though I later stopped after Lord Veldanava was disappointed by my actions. Never before had I felt such dread and misery. Now, I only target specific individuals rather than whole universes.

Back to the spar, I just dodged a kick on the head from Veldora, which produced huge shockwaves. The terrain of this Mirror Dimension was the Jura Forest, which meant that many trees were being impacted by attacks like these.

Rimuru: "Sloppy. Try again." I told him, to which he responded with a barrage of punches and kicks that had his Storm Magic imbued in them. However, dodging them was light work for me.

He then stepped back slightly and unleashed [Storm Blast], which I nullified using a little bit of Nihilistic particles. However, the attack was merely a feint as I countered Veldora's daggers from behind using a high kick.

He then further tried to strike me with his daggers, which failed miserably as I continued to deflect and block his attacks. His daggers then started glowing red as more power was embedded into them, leading to more ferocious attacks coming forth. This also increased the speed of the incoming attacks.

Being made from both Hihiirokane and Starheart, these daggers, named Kamish, were highly flexible in terms of abilities and could boost the user's abilities as well. There is also the fact that I used some of Veldora's own magicules to form these daggers, making them affiliated with him.
