Rimuru POV

Several days have passed since Lord Veldanava and I started training Rudra. While Lord Veldanava focused on teaching him various forms of magical attacks, including the use of Holy Magic, I taught swordsmanship and martial arts to enhance his physical abilities.

Moreover, another thing is how much time Lord Veldanava spent with Rudra's sister, Lucia Nasca. Whenever Rudra was being taught physical fighting by me or was just having a break and ruling his kingdom, my lord and Lucia would hang out quite a bit.

The two would have tea-time, discuss a bit about life and other interesting topics, as well as talk about trivial topics such as the weather and even gossip about several things.

They were spending quality time to a great extent. Lucia had also started to refer to my lord as 'Sir Veldanava' rather than 'Lord Veldanava', something that I am incredibly curious about, though I haven't inquired about it yet.

I know well that she is developing feelings for him. As for my lord, I am sure he is simply entertaining her for his own amusement. This is a conclusion I made due to the careful observation I conducted on them as they spent time together.

Furthermore, we are also currently staying in the Nasca Kingdom as Lord Veldanava is interested in this place as well as because we need to train Rudra, who spends most of his time ruling the empire.

Today, I just made and served breakfast to my lord, who was eating it peacefully. It was a curry with chicken and a bit of broccoli, which he consumed using a spoon.

Veldanava: "Hmm, this is good. You did an outstanding job as always, Rimuru." He complimented, making my heart flutter in happiness.

Ah~! So wonderful! No matter how many times he compliments me, I never get used to the amount of happiness and joy that builds itself inside me.

Rimuru: "Thank you for your kind praise, my lord." I replied, keeping my cold and serious expression despite the overload of joy that was building up in my mind.

Veldanava: "Tell me, Rimuru..." His expression suddenly became more aloof as his calm smile vanished, and his gaze became more distant. There seemed to be a serious conflict that he was dealing with.

Veldanava: "What do you think it's like to fall in love?" He asked, his gaze divine yet distant.

Rimuru: ...Love?

Nonsense. Why is he asking that question?

Could it be that... my lord has fallen in love?

This... is an unexpected development. So he didn't manipulate her into loving him to entertain himself? I guess I need to improve at evaluating a situation.

Rimuru: "Honestly, I don't really have much of an idea, my Lord. However, I guess you can say that love makes someone happy when they spend time with the person they have feelings for. If it's romantic love, then that happiness can reach another level, to a point that you can't get rid of it." I gave my evaluation on the feeling of love.

This is an evaluation I gathered by reading various amounts of literature as well as by analyzing behavior patterns of Velzard and Velgrynd whenever they were with their romantic interests.

Veldanava: "I... see... Yosh! Time for me to train Rudra." He remarked, bringing his calm smile back as he finished his breakfast and got up to approach Rudra.

However, I do not accompany him. Instead, I trudge off to the room of Lucia Nasca. After a bit of walking, I found her room on the top floor of the palace. I then told the guard standing in front of the door to inform her of my presence, which he did.
