Rimuru POV

After settling everything in the Eastern Empire, I then teleported Lord Veldanava and his family to Heaven's Tower in Damargania. There, we informed Dagruel of the situation, accompanied by a short outburst I had on him and Glassord.

After he apologised, I then used the key to open the Heavenly Star Palace and brought them in. I had placed a barrier on Lord Veldanava, making sure that he was unharmed by the pressure. A barrier was also placed on Lady Lucia, though it wasn't as strong since she could withstand the pressure.

Milim, on the other hand, didn't need any barrier as she was already strong enough to withstand the pressure. Upon seeking permission, I was given the authority to not address Milim as 'Lady' the way I addressed her mother.

Although my lord offered me to have the authority of not addressing Lady Lucia formally, I refused, as she was his spouse, meaning that he officially considered her his equal. There is no way I could informally address someone like that.

I also took an interest in the pet my lord had made for Milim. This creature was created by the last of my lord's power, so it was certainly interesting to see this creature. I debated on whether to name it, but decided against it, seeing that Milim would do it herself later on.

After making sure that everything was settled, I instructed the angels to keep a close watch on my lord and make sure that he wasn't inconvenienced in any way, to which they obliged.

I then teleported out of the palace, leaving Pico and Gracia in charge of watching over my lord.

I then entered a remote city with a palace inside it. It was still under construction, so it wasn't fully developed and was empty. According to Aclys, this city was called Night Rose.

Entering the castle in the center of the city, I arrived in the main room to find my three subordinates and a woman who sat gracefully on the couch.

The woman was Luminous Valentine, a High Vampire, and Twilight's finest creation. I had gathered here to discuss an important issue she had started.

She had tried to kill her father, the being who created her, which is why Aclys' [Parallel Existence] wasn't with Lord Veldanava during the attack. I wanted to lash out at her, but then decided against it, having an issue that I currently needed to resolve.

Luminous: "Greetings, Rimuru Nava." She greeted, her voice polite and measured, yet her gaze was fierce, and no smile was present on her face.

Rimuru: "Same here, Luminous Valentine." I replied as I sat on the other couch opposite her, facing her directly.

Rimuru: "I shall cut to the chase." I began, not bothering to beat around the bush.

Rimuru: "Why did you try to kill Twilight?" I asked coldly, my gaze focused on her.

Twilight, despite his crazed and annoying nature, was a being who had earned my respect. He was the one who created most of the species of this world, and impressed my lord with his creations.

After Gunther, Luminous's butler, placed two glasses of wine on the table before us, the vampire girl took a glass and sipped her wine before focusing her gaze back to me, all while I didn't bother to touch the glass placed for me.

Luminous: "Twilight is restricting my freedom. He barely lets me do anything, performs several experiments on me, and always makes me feel on edge. His antics are making me sick." She revealed, her expression betraying hatred and disgust.

Luminous: "That's not all. He is also torturing and experimenting on other species and races for his research. The kind of experiments and tactics he is using are way too unforgivable to let them slide." She continued, her tone serious and wary as I listened intently.
