3rd Person POV
Everything seemed to be settled. Guy went back to his Ice Castle with Velzard, and Velgrynd began handling everything in the empire alongside Rudra. Ramiris returned to her Labyrinth. Zelanus returned to the new domain of the Insectars, a separate dimension once created by Rimuru 14 years ago.
Veldora, on the other hand, simply lounged back into the Forest of Jura, his eyes heavy-lidded in depression. He had no more motivation, no more purpose to even try to be jolly. Sylvia was in a similar state of mind after finding her husband completely missing, with only his clothes being the last signs of his existence.
Dagruel's frustration was also quite understandable. His land, once a lush paradise, was reduced to a barren wasteland that his kind was not compatible with. Yet, there wasn't much he could do about it either. What had happened had happened, and he couldn't change that.
As for Rimuru's subordinates... it was mixed. Amelia tagged alongside Ramiris into the Dwelling of Spirits before returning to the Spirit World, the same place from which her master once summoned her. Aclys disappeared, never to really appear in front of anyone again, and Diablo... well, he had nowhere else to go besides the Demon Realm.
Then there were the Primordial Angels, the first of the Creator God's creations, who were currently residing in the Heavenly Star Palace as they observed all operations whilst Veldanava sat in his chambers alongside his family.
There stood a king-sized bed, one that Veldanava had just created using [Material Creation], where lay Milim sleeping peacefully alongside Gaia in her arms.
As she observed her daughter sleep peacefully, Lucia leaned her head onto her husband's chest, satisfied at seeing her daughter finally relaxed. The past seven days had been brutal to them, and it felt like a dream how everything seemed to have finally simmered down.
Looking up, she caught Veldanava deep in thought. He had regained his previous level of power; perhaps even more than that. It delighted her. And yet... it didn't feel right. This power belonged to Rimuru, not Veldanava. Only Rimuru should wield this power, these magicules, these skills... no one else.
And yet, she didn't dare complain that Veldanava possessed them. She was satisfied regardless, knowing that they were still in good and skilled hands. Besides, Rimuru chose to give him his skills and abilities in the first place, so it was... okay.
However, whilst Lucia was happy with these circumstances, the same couldn't be said about Veldanava. The fact that he held his most dearest subordinate's powers just to keep himself powerful was disturbing. He didn't want this, and he planned on doing something about it.
Lucia: "Dear... what about those Dragon-type species which were summoned from your aura?" She asked, referring to the several dragon and lizard-like creatures that spawned from the raging aura Veldanava had released, the same one that mutated Lucia into a dragonoid.
Veldanava: "They will find a home for themselves... or I will help them if necessary." He replied before pulling away from her and standing up, making her look up at him with concern etched on her face.
Veldanava: "I'll be back. Won't take too long." He told her calmly, a soft smile on his face, before walking out of the room.
Alone, he then teleported into a place that was pitch-black. It had no light, yet everything seemed clear. It was a vast expanse with seemingly no end, as if it was meant to go on even after time stopped flowing.
This was the Imaginary Space, the ultimate storage for Nihility, and a feature of the Ultimate skill [Void God Azathoth]. It was empty, with nothing existing besides him and Nihility....
