Cry. Once you're done, make sure you don't cry for the same reason ever again.

I sat down on the chair, and talked.

"Why do you want to see me?"

"I heard what had happened to you." Grazzle speaked.

"So?"

"I'm just concerned about you."

"Well, I'm fine. Really. You don't need to worry. And, if there's nothing urgent, don't contact me in the future. Goodbye."

When I stood up, he stopped me.

"Wait. I'm not done yet."

I gave him a cold stare.

"You still like Hugo?" He asked, urging me for answers.

"No. I love him."

He was taken aback from my answers. And he stood up, leaving the room, back to his cell.

I got out of the prison and Mr pakanstin is waiting outside, slouching against his car, hands in his pocket. His eye lid up as soon as he sees me.

"So, how is it?" He asked.

"Fine." I said without any eye contact and open the car door to go in myself.

He enters next at the driver seat, putting on the seat belts.

"Would you like to have some lunch? It's noon time." He asked.

"Please."

There was a long silence in the car. As soon as we reach the diner, my phone rang. It's from Hugo.

"Good afternoon baby." he says.

"Hey."

"Have you eaten lunch?"

"Going to."

"Alone?"

"No."

"Hey, everything alright?"

Oh dear, how did he know I'm not alright?

"Yea fine."

"Okay. I'm just calling to check on you. I'm due in court now. See you tonight."

"See you."

And, I switched off my phone.

X.

Mr pakanstin brought me home later that evening and Hugo's already home.

"Good evening Christine. I'm cooking dinner." He says, smiling.

"Okay." I said while I was removing my shoe.

"So, what did you do today?" He asked, whole he is busy with the pan.

"Nothing much." "I'll go up and have a bath." I said and walked through him. But, he stopped me and grabbed my wrist.

"Could you just tell me what's wrong?" He asked, full of annoyance.

"I... I... went to see grazzle today." U sturtted.

"And?" He raised his eyebrow.

I said nothing.

"Did he try to do anything? If he dare to try, he will regret it." He said, eyes building up with anger.

"No. I'm just scared."

Then, he pulled me into his embrace.

"Why baby?"
