The alarm in my head
It goes off when I leave the house
When I cross the door
The alarm goes off when I look people in the eye
When I have to have an eloquent conversation
The alarm goes off
As if I were always standing on train tracks
As if there were always a risk to take
The alarm in my head
Is not easy to ignore
But I can finally breathe
