Raven's Life Revealed (Teen Titans, Attack on Titan)

Chapter 2

People were screaming, crying and praying. Telling their loved ones that they were going to be okay, that they'll get through this and that they'll be safe. Why tell them such lies? Why not just tell them the truth, and say: we're so fu©king screwed. Bangi were not running away, they stayed and started preaching, to the wall, to the Titans. We've seen plenty get eaten on the way.

Some people had horrified or shocked expressions on their faces, people like Erik and I. People who have witnessed the terror of the Titans, seen what they can do, seen their loved ones ripped away from them. Seen how close to death we all are.

Mr. Hagu walked us aboard the ship that was moving us towards the interior. As soon as we were settled, he went away off the ship and towards the wall.

"This is the end! The end, I tell you!" A woman cried out loud. She was frightening most of those that surrounded us. She caught a glimpse at us and suddenly widened her eyes, "These poor children! They probably lost all of their family! Look at how traumatized these poor souls are!"

"Please, stop talking." I whispered.

"What?"

"Stop talking! You're scaring everyone." I spoke louder.

She looked around and saw how people were looking at each other with terrified expressions on their face. Saw how they were truly frightened by her words. "I-I'm sorry." She said and got down on her knees and grabbed my hands into her own, keeping such a hard grip that I couldn't pull away, "But can't you see young one, that won't matter once we're Titan food!"

"Leave her alone, you old bat. Just because you can't oppress your terror, doesn't mean you have to try to pass it to others." The boy from before-Damien said.

The woman glared at him, and loosened her grip on me, I quickly pulled away and made sure to hide them from her. She looked at me once and quickly walked away.

I looked over to Damien, he was staring at my hands, which had small cuts because of the woman's nails digging into my skin.

"You okay?"

"Yeah, thanks, by the way." I responded, pulling down my sleeves to hide the incisions.

Suddenly, I felt movement behind me, Erik was getting up and moving away, towards the railing.

"Erik." I said trying to stop him by grabbing his arm, he swiftly pulled away and walked on. I sighed and left him alone. After what he's been through, I would probably be the same.

Azar, I hope Pemma and Arella are safe.

"He doesn't look okay."

"He's not. He-He just saw something no one should ever see. I'm pretty sure we all have at least once." Looking over to Erik to see he has pushed Luna away from him. He seemed to be gripping the railing on the side of the ship, no doubt probably gaining a few splinters.

"...seen Rachel? Purple hair, purple eyes. Very easy to distinguish from others." I heard a voice say a little bit away from me.

"Pemma?" I asked out loud.

"Rachel? Rachel, where are you?" She said not seeing me.

I stood on the seat and looked for her. I spotted her right behind Damien.

"Could you tap that woman behind you? Please?" I asked him looking into his dark blue eyes.

He turned and spoke to Pemma in a low voice. She shook his hand in gratefulness and rushed by my side. "Rachel? Azar, I thought I had lost you too." She said squeezing me in a tight embrace.
